How much did it cost to clean the tank?

i'm only 20 man...extra money is hard to come by :cry::cry:

haha anyways its almost done and to get the tank cleaned and re-lined it was like 125+tax, so it wasn't too bad

ONE QUESTION.
i have the two knock sensors but either the wires for them were cut off the harness or they just weren't there. i got some clips and wires coming, but is that going to affect how it runs without those installed? i'm gonna probably re-wire them in, but i'm just curious if it's gonna affect initial start up at all?

any help on that would be awesome...

???

In response to your knock sensor debacle, I had one with broken wires on my car and it would start and drive somewhat decently, but under boost it would do all kinds of weird things. Richening up and bucking, among other things.

Hope that helps.

I wish my IC pipes were only 3 pieces. I got one of those kits off ebay. It's good quality with rolled edges and all, but there are about a million pieces. Of course, with the stickiness of the silicone couplers I haven't had a problem with blowing off any off them, but I'd still like there to be fewer of them.

Just read through all of this...my eyes hurt. And not from the blue, lol!:icon_bigg Not my taste but it's not bad.

Can't wait to see this all done. No offense, but I can't believe your shop teacher didn't see some of the mistakes these guys have pointed out. Was he watching or helping during the time you were there?

At any rate keep the pics flowing and keep taking your time. I know your excited to get it up and running but you'll feel more better about it when it's all done properly the first time around.

no he wasn't watching me the whole time. it was pretty much, if i had a question about something, i'd ask him...and use his tools haha. trust me, my motor is no one's taste but mine, so it's ok.

i'm uploading the pics now to my photobucket, so when i get home from work, i'll be posting them up!

thanks!
