OK, well, I fixed the exhaust leak, changed the plugs, CPS (solder connection) coil packs, fixed what might have been intake leaks, and cleaned and checked some other electrical connections.

Problem still exists...once the car is hot it will not restart until it is dead cold.

Im gonna start looking at the fuel system next. friggin turbo :3d_frown:

Things I found (and fixed) while working on the car the last two days: 3k pipe to TB coupler was sealed using electrical tape. Almost all the exhaust studs were stripped. The oil return line from the turbo was leaking pretty bad. The CPS wires nearly "fell" out of the connector. One of the Spark plug wires was not solidly plugged into the coil. The lower IC pipe was split pretty bad where it meets the turbo. The battery was wedged in the tray with a chunk of 4x4 (interesting use of lumber products), The Heater control had only one of the plugs plugged into it. The lumbar would pump up but not down. The PS mirror would go in and up but not down and out. The door speakers had no surrounds left on the cones.

Ive also added a new DP and 3" all the way back to flowmaster 40 (thanks again Spipedong), and a cone filter. Also swapped out the AFM with another used one.

I still need to replace the igniter, the cruise control actuator, the TPS...and redo a few clips and connectors. Im also gonna change out the FPR and fuel filter, and back flush the fuel lines. I also have a whole spare set of relays, fuses and circuit breakers. Im just gonna change them all out for the hell of it.

Im stating to think Fuel system again. Gonna test the FPU VSV, and replace the FPR as previouly stated. This heat soak problem is a real pisser to sort out. I think Ive done about half of the recommended fixes so far though, so I still got stuff to try.

Ok, swapped the FPR, ISC and the coil connector wires. Started up and went for a drive. Upon return, let car sit for 3 minutes then tried to start it...same thing, wont start. Tried pulling the vac hose off the FPR, no change.

Also got a chance to lube and adjust the BOV. It acually works right now. But Im still getting compressor surge from somewhere. Ive checked all the hoses and couplers, dont see anything obvious and all the coneectors are good and tight.

Next two things on the list are Fuel filter and pump. But Im whipped for the day.
