Yeah probobly but thats really shows car ur engine ir working properly gas is burned correct.
Actually im starting to get little improvements when use injector cleaner. Gonna continue cleaning and then will see if just a cleaning can help to improve gas mileage.

I've been keeping track of my gas mileage in a spreadsheet ever since I had my Supra. I have averaged 19.7 mpg which is probably about 75% city driving. The few times I have had it on the open highway I have been really impressed with the gas mileage. It seems to get somewhere around 28 mpg or so. My Supra is an 87 Non Turbo with the 5 speed manual.

It runs real smooth, pulls good! I have noticed a small stumble occasionally while idling. Going to check plug wires.

damn, that's really good.... makes me wonder why my n/a got such terrible gas mileage. it definitely ran way stronger than I would ever expect a n/a supra to run.

^ most manual turbo supras should get just shy of 30mpg HWY you should check your afm, o2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, maybe TPS too

Most A340E cars will do slightly better on the highway with cruise. The converter will lock, and over drive is deeper.

The last time i went down to SLIV (portland, Or to Vegas) we were hitting roughly 30-32MPG at almost 75-80+MPH
Mods
Lex's 550's
Apex'i AFC Neo (tuned)
12lbs boost
Tanabe hyper medallion exhaust
AFPR
DM 3' Downpipe
DM intercooler kit
Apex'i power intake

just basic mod but with the tune im pretty sure is why i was able to confirm that we were getting that kinda millage, but ill have to ask one of the other guys for his data log to trully confirm.

It isn't the tune. Those mods will reduce pumping losses.

Just finished building my car so I haven't has a chance to test it yet. However, we built my brothers car and it is seeing 28-29.6 mpg on the open highway. In city it is 17-18 mpg. His car is an 87 Turbo 5 speed

Update, finally drove my 89 Turbo last night. My car had a little over a 1/4 tank and I put 11.475 gallons of 93 octane in it (total: $40.97). The gauges was showing 1 or 2 notches below full. On a 272 mile (437.7 km) trip, it burned a bit over half a tank. Result was 31-32 mpg. My city/hwy combined mpg is 25.5 mpg (17-19 city, 30+ hwy).

my 2jz na-t (56mm t3 turbo) 850cc injectors with 3.91:1 on standalone aem has a average of 15mpg in town and at best 19 hwy and combined has been 17mpg. :( that sucks when on premium and its a daily

the 7mge with the 4.10:1 was 26 combined 60% was hwy and 87 octane

I guess power does come at a cost. lol
I just switched from my yukon to the supra. The yukon saw like 12-14 city and maybeeee 20 hwy. 25 gallon tank and 89 octane was getting steep. lol

you would think power would only affect it when being used. id like to try a 3.71 or frankenstein a 3.55 just for mpg. or leaning out my tune while cuising. i think this can be done on the nitrous settings of the aem(say i toggle a switch that is for this table but really i use it for "eco mode" to lean out while in cruise rpm)

the new stringray corvette is running a 3.42 and getting estamated 29hwy and 17 city. id like to get good hwy seeing as the corvette is a 6.2 liter with 450bhp.

Just tune so at cruise rpm it leans the mix a little... I think IJ leaned it out to around 15.2? Maybe 15.5? After that point the engine started stumbling I believe.

Paging IJ....

You have to remember that the C7 vette is also 7 speed manual. Not sure how the trans-gears are setup but I am assume that 4th or 5th is 1:1 leaving 2 maybe even 3 overdrive gears.
On the note, I have seen order Ls1 powered Corvettes and Camaros hit the higher 20's on open highway. I agree with Backlash2032, you could probably tune it to run a bit leaner at cruising speed.

id like to keep the 3.91 just for the fact that the speedo matches again after tinkering to get it right from the 4.30 yeah i have a lean spot from 1500rpm to 2000rpm and it falls on its face. somethink like 17afr at max. but back to mpg ill poke around with the data log and see where i cruise at on the map. maybe take .1 out of those blocks and see what it does
