23 consitent on a tank between two 7M Cressidas and 4 7MGE Supras and one 7MGTE Supra.

Highway milage doesn't go up to much as the rear gear is too short.

Seems like 21-20 mpg no matter how I drive it. Rebuilt 7mgte, 4.3 rear, only mod is the exhaust. Mix of highway and city driving, leaning more toward city.

i get a verfifed 17.8 mpg on my 200_ miles rd trip with alot of highway runs, pulls, racing, etc.

rebuilt 7m, 4.30, crusiing at 80-85 for most of the time, Stock turbo, bic ddp, stock intercooler and piping, 3" exhaust and a reallyheavy foot.

I hope wen ppl post the mpg there are just random gueses in there head and they actually calculate it.

By filling the gas tank up to the top when the gas pump clicks, redest the odo, drive 100 or 200 miles, refill till it clicks again and write down how many gallons it took in and divide it by the mileage

I was super easy on my car for a whole gas tank. Spooled the turbo maybe 10 times in the two weeks i had that tank, just to merge on the freeway. I got 245 miles on the tank compared to my regular 230. I was disappointed, seems like however I drive I'm gonna get around 230 miles to the tank. Usually about 15mpg

Anywhere between 18 - 34mpg (imperial) daily driving to work and back average about 23 - 24. Long journeys depending on how bored I get 28 - 34.

Dang! What did you do to get that good of mpg's?! :aigo:

I have gotten 28 a few times on 400 mile road trips (actually have had more than 400 miles on the trip meter before deciding to fill it up) and have gotten as bad as 12 when I am purely driving the car hard. I would say my average is ~22mpg though.

I drove 400kms on half a tank one time. That was highway driving in the range of 120km/h to 160km/h. And also in an N/A 5spd with 2.5" straight pipe exhaust.

That was a serious question. I figured maybe O2 sensor, knock sensor, maybe fan clutch(not sure how you'd know if it needs to be replaced). Anything I'm missing?

Those things only need to be replaced if they are bad. The O2 sensor being the main one that could help HWY/cruise fuel mileage. The knock sensor will not help fuel mileage, just prevent Det. If the fan clutch was always driving the fan I suppose that would hurt fuel mileage some.

The biggest thing is the driver mod, and self control. I would make sure that the fuel injector cut off is working correctly on engine run down. And make sure the air filter is new/clean. Having an open exhaust and intake system helps mileage as long as you are not getting on it constantly.
