Could do a top mount intercooler with a hood scoop...

I'd have to see pics of the enginebay with the grill and radiator in to see where you might mount an intercooler in the front...

Yep, an I6 is going to be a tight squeeze.

That said, ideas:

1) Poodles said it - top mount the IC
2) Air to Water IC, with a radiator in the trunk (with custom ducting in the sides to flow air over the A2W setup)
3) Nitrous as an air cooler ;)

More pics from the weekend. A sump pan will need to be fabricated, but that's not too big of an issue. I don't think that a top mount IC will work without butchering this awesome hood that they shipped us. A smaller front mount will work in the grill area above the bumper though.

In that case you could have raised the engine up since the hood isn't going to hit anything...

Then no hacking of the oil pan, but the angling of the driveshaft, and the tranny tunnel might have been an issue...

I see plenty of room to mount an IC between the radiator support and the grill. Now the only question is: Do you leave the IC glaring out of the grill, or do you black it out and let people think it's slow?

Damn that hood is cool though, CF is tuner car style, while the cowl induction style is pure hotrod...

Poodles - we couldn't raise it any higher without butchering the trans tunnel.

tlo86 - Boost Logic loaned me a pan setup to do mock up. Look at the hole in the front of that sucker.:biglaugh:

I just got a PM on one though, so all is well.

i just used a normal C clip on my pin for the fork,

forks are 55$ new if you cant find a used one :( (mine didnt come with one either!)
not sure about the pin though

still lookin good by the way, the air to water IC would be a neat idea if yo uare tight on space
