I will be fighting this ticket! Thanks guys i will post what happens... 6-16-06 is the court date!

Stay tuned...:evil2:

Good luck, Also try and get written PROOF that you had permision to be on the private property before you goto court and take it with you. :)

Couple of years ago we had a bunch of dirt bikes at our house and I had a few friends over and we were riding around on our property and some neighbors called the cops on us. Cops came to our house and said they couldnt do anything about it since it was on our property and then they sat and watched for a little bit. I think our neighbors called the cops about 5 times and nothing ever happened. Now if they would have issued a ticket or anything else it wouldnt have held up in court since it was on our property.

when I was 15 I was threatened by a police man that I needed to be inside before he gets me for curfew although I was on my mom's property and the house was no more then 10 yards away from me... I was camping out in the back.....

That police officer should have gotten a swift kick in the genital area!

actually they can,

if the Law Enforcement sees you, they can still issue you a citation as you are breaking the law. No different than smoking pot in private property or having a meth lab ;)

btw where the hell did this bullshit myth start? If in private property they can't touch me nonsense?
Haha, yeah, the only time that applies is when you run one of those fake stops signs, in a parking lot, and that's only if no one else is there. If there are pedestrians or other motorists, present, you can still get stuck for RD.

wait a sec, i didnt read past the first page so if this was covered, oops.

it was stated that if you were on a *private* parking lot, owned by a friend of yours or by you, for arguments sake, that the police could still issue a citation for wreckless driving.

but that is completely incorrect, if its not a state road and you have permission from the owner you can do whatever you want, when concerning regulations restricting motorists on government roads.

however, if you are driving in an unsafe manner on a privately owned lot but it is accessable to the public, like a mcdonalds parking lot for example, a police officer can in that case write you a ticket.

^ Yeah, considering the fact that he is the Security Guard...
I'm sure he can get his boss or higher ups to write something up saying that it is okay that he use the empty parking lot for his "practice", if only for court, and even if his boss makes sure to say that this is simply for court, and he must agree to never do it again.
I'm sure any boss would do that. If he won't, then quit.

Ive got a stop sign I found in an attic and a 50MPH sign I found in a field, If I put these up on my property and start doing 80mph and running by the stop sign without stopping, can the police man still issue me a ticket?
I think itd be hard to do 80MPH on dirt in a little over 200ft....LOL...Although I can do it on my dirt bike easy tho

I used to live on a farm, and one day when I was like 17 I was out driving
around and doing donuts and shit in the yard. A cop came by, and said he
was going to issue me a ticket. I said 1) this is my yard, and I'm playing, 2)
get off my property before I call 911 and have you arrested for trespassing.
and 3) have a nice day. *smile*. He started saying I wasn't following his order
and some shit like that, I turned my back on him and started walking towards
my house, and I said I'm calling 911, for all i know you could be a fake police
stalker or something, and I already asked you to leave. You have 30 seconds
to get your butt off my property NOW. 29.. 28... got the cordless phone...
24... he got in his car and left.

I about peed myself, i didn't think it would work.
