You're certainly right in that there isn't enough common courtesy these days, at least not here. I'm amazed at how courteous some other cultures are compared to the US. Russia and Ukraine for example. I've yet to witness an example of road rage in spite of seeing things that'd probably result in gunfire over here. Course, 70 years of not knowing who was KGB might have something to do with that
