SD: My fronts are 255/35/18's and with the geometry I run for high speed I don't think I could steer it at low speeds with no power assist!

Time for you to hit the gym!

Haha nah, I'm all for power steering. If it came down to running a turbo that had an inlet that took up the entire space in front of the engine (and would fit), but having to lose the rack. I'd say goodbye Mr. Awesome turbo. Never again will I make that mistake...

1200 for the charger
by pass vavle 300
cutom bolt on cog for blancer was 500
other miss bit's 500

plus i knwo i whopuld most likly have to spend more

then i though hey why not save my self the trubo and just run no2 to spool so i bought that

i had a pretty bad leak in my rack. got it taken care of before i lost all power though, and i definitely like the luxury side of this car.

i do wonder who's gonna be the first to throw a SC on a 7m though

would there be space enough to do that/mount on the intake side and still run ic piping that wouldn't look like a hamster hotel?

great idea, photoshop a hamster running around in a turbine on a dyno run. "powered by snuffles. lag, there's no lag here, just cedar chips."

Nope that's what I was looking at with a MUCH smaller blower than the 8/71!

Even without an IC it was going to be a nightmare as there was only 10mm between the blower and the shock tower with the shortest intake runners I could make!

This could be really awesome, the supra community is one step closer to leaf springs and stag beer guzzling fan boys and girls. Lets just put a nice big turbo on and call it a day. I love the creativity you guys show on here daily but some of these ideas just OMG ya know, there was never a supercharged supra anywhere unless some redneck got hold on one and bolted on a blower. I could be wrong but I am betting the engineers at toyota and all the other companies might know a bit more and had good reason to run a turbo and not its half witted lil brother the supercharger so I say lets explore the snail route a bit more. ;)

Car for car a correctly setup Roots blower will destroy the turbo car on the street..... NO LAG none nada zip zero.

I'm not talking about racing for 1/4 mile I'm talking about the normal red light GP's we experience day to day.

My car at 500rwhp with minimal lag would still get shut down badly by a 500rwhp roots blown car there's no comparison.
(Yes I've driven Blown and Turbo cars)

i have to dis agree in one smallish fact is it alot harder to get traction wiht blown car as in power cuver is very vilent as in trubo power comes on later letting the car roll more haven less cna of spining

but this is one small thing but if both car have the same tration then the blower boy will win
