I'm not sure what's funnier. Ian's post or the fact that you took an actual hammer and wrote "ban hammer" on it with a sharpie and signed it.

That's histerical DegreE

I think they can look good occasionally in pictures, but I really think they'd be a terrible idea, as far as functionality is concerned. Think about if it's raining, your interior gets pwned with water for a minute instead of ten seconds. I would think the things Randy mentioned would be correctable with a large amount of effort and money, but in the end you wind up with something that's still pretty lame.

Keith, I agree with the new Chrysler rear door suicide thing completely

This thread is epic.

Glad I started such a bash against a potentially unique idea (no I am not being facisous or however the hell you spell it) I do think however that REVERSE lambo doors would be unique. Out of all the pics showed of lamboed MKIII's I have yet to see one with reverse lambos. I think before you truely bash an idea maybe you should actually see it. oh and to bypass the little leaky problem why would that be expensive to fix? Just out of curiousity anyone thought of putting window skirts over the top areas? wow truely expensive there. I am going with this idea and quite frankly all you guys that bash people for having lambo doors need to remember one thing (btw this rant is for the people that utterly BASHED the lambo doors, not people expressing their opinion), they at least have the guts to be unique, most of you bashers are completely stocks with little mods here and there and thats great, thats where i sit now too, but dont bash somebody for their unique ideas. There are some ideas that should be bashed, but a good professionally done lambo door, i dont think you should.
Thats my $0.02, dont like my opinion? Don't care.

With the right body mods, I would rock scissor doors. Although, those body mods would be closer to what SoD thinks are the right body mods rather than what the majority of this site thinks.

...adding unnecessary weight to an already heavy car. And I'm pretty sure the first time you crack open the back of your head on the bottom of the door you would hate it.:biglaugh:

Man you guys act like we are only allowed to race these cars, and not just enjoy them. Not everyone in the world cares about saving 50 lbs. Where does it stop? Why not just roll around with out power steering + ABS + Airbags + Speakers + targa + a stereo ect...

This is a damn GT car, if you wanted a super light weight car get some stripped piece of trash that the interior bends when you touch it. Not everyone is all gung ho for having a completely stock MKIII besides performance mods.

But to the original poster, you can't really be upset at them. You asked what they thought, and they gave you their honest answers even if some posts were childish.
