Make sure you get all those clearances tight as possible and I always close in the c-clips to make them tighter. Wait until you feel a rebuilt gearbox, I am not sure if you have seen my build thread but I did mine and I shift all gears with two fingers or just a pull with my middle finger.

I did have an issue with my mount being backwards and caused the crossmember to be off center which caused the grinding noise I had made a thread about. Fixed that and wow, super smooth gearbox.

Indeed, that's the goal- the trans is going to be right at factory specs when it gets put together so I hope it'll be close to yours, Andy!

Once I find an LSD 4:30 rear diff it'll be getting the solid spacer and Weir stage 2 spring kit. Don't want to lock it up, but I definately want both tires to light up when I mash it to the floor! 210k on everything on this car so it'll be nice to get it restored back to better than original :)

when I get the time to throw my 3.91 in I'll send you my 4.30. But it DEFINITELY needs a rebuild, its got 240k on it lol

Yep, everyone who thinks they have a 4:30 seems to have a turbo diff for some reason ;)

lol. It's definitely a 4.30

car was stock when I bought it, N/A auto, sport package. 5th gear, 45 mph is little over 2k rpms. 65 mph I'm around 3k lol

I like my 3.91. Right in the middle of 4.30 and the 3.73. Hey Steve, if you do a rebuild, get me those bearing numbers! I don't want to buy it from Toyota as we know they will just sell a Koyo bearing at a super high price. Just want to pull the diff and repair and replace then install. Cant leave it strung up on the lift.

Mine just started to make a little noise. Just looked at the Weir kit and the stage 2 one looks good! Thanks Moy!

Parts are starting to come in now, got the head gasket (2.0mm HKS Stopper), intercooler piping has been ordered, hopefully the Marlin crawler stuff should be sent to me this week, if all goes well!

Valve springs will be ordered once the head porting is done, which should give enough time for the block and head to get machined, then the clutch will come and assembly time! A 5-bar map sensor for the AEM as well as one for the Tru-boost will shortly follow...guess I'm going to use that billet turbo for all it has to give, then!

Trying to figure out if I want to keep the heater control or if I want to try and do an electric heater setup...will need some more time to think about that one, though.

What was it from, then? My first guess would be something GM related, but ya never know! Obviously it says Bosch on it so maybe VW/Audi?

Lol, my uncle had an Iveco truck and his insurance company said that Iveco didn't exist. An adjuster came out and classified it as an Isuzu because his system had no information on Iveco XD

I'm going to hope you have the pigtail. Will I need a voltage referance chart for it, or is it pretty linear like most MAP sensors? (going to hook up with an AEM, for referance so they likely don't have it loaded in)
