So 3 out of 4 rear alignment adjustments are seized :/ Guess I'm going full poly bushes sooner than I had thought!

Cam bolts should be in tomorrow, picking up the rear bushing kit after work! Then I just need a turbo to drive it in for the alignment!

shit my entire suspension will be getting poly bushings.

do you go to your work for alignment? or do you go to a performance shop?

i know a guy in burnsville who does alignments for race cars i might hit up when this is all said and done.

I will be doing my own alignment, which is why I'm being so anal about making sure al the adjustments move like butter. I already don't like alighments, and having all these cam adjusters is just irritating. It will be as close to perfect as I can get, however.
Perhaps a little more camber to maximize my contact patch on launching, but that will get a lot of research done prior to doing. Either way a big cutoff wheel will be in action tomorrow after work and my garage will be a mess for some time yet!

yeahh suspension requires analretentive thoughts. Just the slightest of adjustments can fuck everything up. It's all on how you want to design your car :D is it going to be a track monster?

Matt, I support this option. Although Sean's car has some defects, for the most part I trust his shell more than I do your white one. That crash damage on your car has had me worried since you were talking about a turbo swap. Crashed cars in general make me nervous, so its not me hatin on your shell. :)
We're setting a meet up for this spring so we can talk about the finer points about that there.

That aside, MY TURBO CAME TODAY Woo and a loud freakin HOO!

you should just take a weekend and come out!

on other topics. YESSS I know my shell is a pile of poop. Im currently looking for good cheap shells that have targa tops. :p

but hey, to my defense it drives straight, doesn't shake, needs some suspension but that's in the works :D

p.s. fixed my hatch issue too!

yeahhhhhhh bout that haha. It's ~6 hours to and ~6 hours from. Gas is expensive and my daily gets shit for gas mileage hahaha. Once the Supra is up and running, though, I will get better gas mileage. Imagine that. Boost is better on gas xD

Emilio and I were thinking April 16 or the 23, but I'm not sure on the details. I'll talk with him tonight and we'l post up an official meet thread in the MN section. My guess would be that it'll be another Suprasport meet, since Greg has been cool with them the last few years :)

That is nothing. I drove five hours from NY to New Hampshire to get my 2JZ Supra that I just painted and fixed all the DoucheBag mistakes from the previous owner.

Monday five hour up, five hours back
Tuesday, five hours up, hour to get Uhaul, 4 coming back down. Do traffic late at night and with a UHaul and my 740IL, that was an easy 85-100 cruise. UHaul topped out at a 100 so it was only going 80.

Six up and six down is not bad. I'd do that, then again, I like to drive. I want to drive to Texas next year.
