you have your head in the right place that's for sure. Those new maintenance additions are very well spent. Very few people understand how important things like that are whe they buy their car....they just want to mod it right away. What good is a modified car if a stock part fails on you? chances are you'll have no money when that happens too. a good investment

Matt, Please put that timing cover back on! I cringe every time I see that done for the cool factor. If you want them to be seen, they do make a clear cover that will still protect your engine while still letting them be seen. But, even then you should employ your Mad Tyte polishing skilz before then as well.

Tips for your upcoming drivers liscence ........Even N/A the Supra is a Sporty car, and we can all see your enthusiasm. Have fun with your car, but drive sensibly most of the time. Pick your spots to have a little fun, and do that sensibly as well. Never try to do anything if you aren't sure you can do it. Learn your car well before just flooring it. We like you around here, and hope you stick around for a long time.

Dont listen to them Matt. Every red light you come to, power brake it and leave thirty foot black marks. The chicks will want you and the cops will totally ignore you.

Sorry, that was backwards. The chicks will ignore you and the cops will totally want you.......:icon_redf

Well the timing cover is on, but I foolishly cut it a little too far down. I thought it would look a little better. I'm going to polish the cams later on tomorrow.

And Jay, I plan to do as many burnout's in my LSD n/a as possible, so I can get thrown in jail and make up excuses to my parents. /joke

The car is taken to Meineke today. We had the exhaust leak fixed, the power steering leak fixed, new plug wires installed, new brake pads, new neutral safety sensor, A/C fixed, new valve seals, new head gasket, new oil pan gasket, new alternator, wheel bearings re-packed with grease, differential fluid changed, new radiator fan, and last but not least the temperature gauge fixed.

Wow, that's a lot to be having done at one time. That's easily $2000 worth of work.
