Well, today, something followed me home today.
I bit of a history :
1 lady Owner from the day she bought
1992 MKIII
Automatic/7mgte / With every option inlcuding Security key to start the car
Sunroof
Teal = Great paint. Always garaged
Shadow Grey ( Dark) interior = Mint
Unmodified/
Factory CD/Cassette/Radio
Chrome factory rims
Always garaged and always maintained by only 1 shop
Came with a five year Shop History ( since the time shop got computerized)
Car has new battery, Brakes, AC recharge, Heater valve, sunroof cable etc
MEchanic told her it has a BHG since she saw her temperature rise once...but pulled over right away.
I checked the car ..no H2O in the oils, note white smoke from the tail pipe, no ruff and hissy fit engine, no moisture in oil cap etc....
It does have an intake leak and maybe an exhaust leak. I thnk the overheating is from a bad Catalytic converter since I see the turbo housing showing remnants of extreme heat = whitish residue.
Anyways, I am happy to Add another 1992 MKIII to my list. Someone offered her 1K...... I paid half
since she knows this car is in "gound hands"
