Just got back from working on the motor tonight. It wont be polished or anything, but it will be clean and the block will be painted. I am thinking about painting the intake and throttle body black. I got the center cover painted the same color as the bay.

Engine bay is to sweet!! I'm sure the rest is going to look awesome.

pay shipping both way's and i'll take care of that intake.tb has a couple of seal's in it for the butterfly's shaft,so i can't do anything with it.i don't think they would like 400* in the oven;)

I appreciate the offer on the powder coat Keith. I think I am just going to paint it flat black. Josh (Reaper) painted his, and it turned out really well.

Show us the RECARO'S!!!!!!

Per your request :sarcasm:

Overall they turned out nice. I actually like the new color combo over the original material. The twead is very heavy duty and should hold up well for a lot of years.

I am going to have the guy try to fix the left rear upper in the second grey row. It is pulled a little too tight there.

Is that a fuzzy pic of the engine or are valve covers just primered or flat black?

I already saw the seats...mmm tough one for me to call two tone leather or cloth recaro's. Nice job Chris.

It is a bad picture but the valve covers and intake are flat black.

The coilpack cover will be sprayed and clear coated the same as the engine bay. I wanted the black for a little contrast.

Yeah I took a gamble on the guy. He was slow but he got them done. He said he would have charged more if he would have known in advance how hard the seats were to get apart. He said they were some of the hardest seats he has done in 15 years.
