Well the engine will be dropped in this weekend.

So far, I installed the dash out of my 89 after swapping the dash harness. I also swapped the auto pedals for the 5 speed pedals out of the 89, replaced the damaged combo switch assembly on the column, installed the clutch master cylinder & slave cyliner, installed the coilovers, the front sway bar, swapped the progressive power steering rack from the 89 to this one, installed brake master cylinder, brake lines, installed a/c condensor w/lines, and got the harness with all accessories (blah, blah, blah) back in the engine bay. Here are a couple of pics....it is dark so the lighting is not very good.

And yes, its still on the trailer from when it got back from the painter....lol No need taking it off when I have to tow it to the shop where we are dropping the engine.

Its amazing how ugly it gets so fast bolting stuff in. Not to mention the dirt...lol
It does look a lot better in the daytime. The pics have a lot of flash washout and makes the bay look dull.

Thanks again for the help Justin. I think we got a lot done tonight getting the LSD, engine, tranny, and driveshaft in. She does look very multicolored doesnt she :) I think we could get a lot further if we wouldnt keep getting snagged with the broken connector here, the missing bolts there, and the one off fittings that have been plaguing us thus far.

That's looking awesome. Since I've pulled my engine out........AGAIN, I'm going to repaint the engine bay.........AGAIN. I hope the rest of this goes smoothly for you and I will do the no lost bolt dance for you. I guarantee you not to have another missing bolt if I do the dance correctly.

Jay, the dance will only work if you do it clothed and baby oil free. I am assuming you have already performed it naked and soaked so please do it correctly this time. Keith, yeah....seeing the engine in has finally made me feel like this thing might actually run again. Getting the dash in made it feel like a car again as well.

The guys here are great. Big props to Justin and his dad, David. They are always willing to help and they both know their stuff. This swap wouldnt be possible without them. Reaper lends a hand too when he isnt tied up with the new baby. I also gotta thank my son Justin, he has helped alot with the prep work which is very time consuming.
