Did you gap the plugs?

Do you have a vaccume gauge.

Like so.

^whats your power band and which NGK plug did you use?

BCPR6ES or BCPR7ES?

Power band, I have no clue. Plugs are BCPR6E. They are the V-Power ones.

Check Resistance of the Coils.

Check Resistance of the SPark Plug Wires.

A conventional plug wire has a resistance of 10,000 to 15,000 ohms per foot of length--if it's measurably higher, the wire probably is bad.

Your idle is fine I've heard it in person..the ticking I would be more concerned about.

Dude, the ticking is nothing. It's just a mix between old pulleys, valves, and injectors. Listen to some other 7M-GTE's, they'll make noise.

The plugs and wires and brand new.

pulleys dont tick, the top end makes some noise but not really. mines quiet as a mouse. and injectors usually arent that noisey either.

Guys, don't worry about the ticking part. It's just injectors and valves, it's always done that. A lot of 7M's I hear make that sound.

Take a Mechanics Stetescope and put it over the cam covers.

If it's ticking there it's fine but i wondn't leave it ticky for various reasons.

But i'd check clearences. Too tight can burn valves and back firing. :(

When i change plugs i perform a complete vehicle check.

Means nothing. :nono:

And my motors are Quiet, and my cousins motor i assembled has a 3.5 Straight pipe.....:)

I'm just saying, the ticking isn't anything abnormal. Sounds just like injectors. It's not going to do any damage.

I check this too when i do my plugs. ;)

+1 Some do tick but in your video it was ticking loud enough to be heard all the way from the back of the car by the exhaust and you could still hear it. Do what you want man we are just trying to help you. All I have to say is your idle was completely fine when I heard your car, I don't know how it is now after you changed your stuff but it should be just as good if not better.

It sounded pretty good to me on the video and the RPM is good. Might need to be timed...and it sounds like valve lash needs to be set.

Probably something with the valves. It's not as loud in person. The idle thing is probably timing.
