update: so i have spent the last 2 days tring to get this last head bolt out to no avale so its transplant time. Don aka (VanSupra)has a parts car with a turbo motor that hes parting with for 300$ while it has most things i need i still need a wiring harness i think and the ecu but i still plan of getting all the parts i ask you guys for just for spares when i break something.
hopfully if every thing goes right ill have the motor out by tonight as its just getting disconected from the tranny. then put on a engine stand for me to star work on it

wow i think im having another noob moment. maft and the Apexi S-AFC2 do the same thing right as in alows me to tune the air/fuel ratio correct so it would be very dumb of me to get both wouldnt it

Update: so i just put almost my all of my last 3 paychecks into this build but so worth it.

first off im going to pick up my new parts car with 7m-gte.
hope to have that pulled and on to an engine stand for stipping tommorow. then off to a shop to for the block and head to be honed so it can get rdy for my mhg and ARP head studs.

well the engine is almost out the temp has been in the high 30s low 40s with humidity all week so only get to work on it at night.

Sweet build.. Does that donor car come with an R154? Given the look at your pressure plate and your clutch disk your probably going to need the turbo trans for your driving habits hahaha.. But thats what supras are for..

My bad just looked at the pics again and noticed the donor car was an automatic..

haha yeah i actuly leard how to drive standerd on that clutch hence the mega wear. unfotunaly the donor car was an auto

Update: got the donor cars engin out and starting the strip down im prep for the machin shop pics in a few

bad news looks like the coolent had been sitting in it for a while. I kinda need some help.
as i only have a week to get this back together

how should i go about get this back on the road i really not gonna put to much more then stock boost on it
i wanna deck and hone the block and head and put a mhg on it but i also only have a week to put this back together

i got a question how do u guys go about cleaning out your oil pans of all the sludge in the bottem.

woot In the last week i have sent my turbo head and block to the machine shop to have the lower end rebuild, the head and block machined, and have him take a look at the head for me to see if it need a rebuild.


I have also changed the HG on my N/A and im in the processe of finning putting that together if all goes well ill have a running car by the end of the week

So i got a litte tired of wrenching to day do i decided to play around with my spare hood its nowere near finish but tell me what u guys think

as u can see it still needs a lot of work a lot more welding a little BFH action a little fillier action, a lot cleaning up cut area but should look close to stock when its done

so the more and more i look at the bottem piece the more i think i should just make a new one outta some sheet metal ill make on up tommorow might even see if i can find someone with a can of filler

the hood looks like it nees :1zhelp: haha but at least your making progress. i cant wait til i do my own build. itll be a long time but worth the wait i believe. are you gonna get some aftermarket rims or just keep the polished saws? my brother is in love with polished saws but im not a huge fan :dunno:

haha i actully already have a set on rims on it ill grab a pi of it in a bit as for the hood yet it looks like crap right now im gonna fix it up today with some new sheet metal and cleand it up with my dremel
