Just saw this thread. Never would have thought to use paint stripper on wheels! Did it pit the metal at all? What brand did you use?

no it didnt what so ever im goind to sand them up abit so there really nice but that about it
As for the paint stripper I prefure Aisan,or White strrippers :evil2:
I dont know I just picker it up at lordco it was the only stuff the had in the spary can

we me and my buddie justinGotA1j got some more work done today got the oil cleaned out of the spark plug valley and go the valve covers back on got my rad all hooked up now to

we also had a few guys show up at my place don, dwane,t91 breeze and a few other guys

::w00t:: just got an na exhast mani of of Don(vansupra) all i need to do now is get 2 rubber coolant hoses(that i broke takeing them off), a gasket, and eather find some one who can make me an Intake or just put the stock one back on for now.
then get that dam tranny out fix it and it will be running

I was hopeing to post a VICTORY IS MINE post tonight with a pic of me standing proudly next to the tranny but no such luck
I got all the bolts off exept one which I stripped :'(
so now because I cant reach the bolt i have to pull the engine
so... i might as well get the R154 that I wasnt going to get because of the work involed and while Im at it a LSD.
Any other part that anyone knows of that are universal between the 1J and the 7M.
( I know theres lots of threads on that topic but i cant for the life of me find them.)

Damn that crane must be huge. You never got nowhere near the bumper at the initial pull. Mine crane was up against the bumper and could have stand to come in a little more

I was thinking about that but i dont know what ild have to do for that(but ill look it up over the next few days) and I'm still in the prosses of get that god dam fucking one last tranny bolt out. Im gonna see what I can do tommorow if I still cant get it out then i dont know what im going to do.
The engine hoist we didnt even have to lift it to the full hight im pretty sure we still have a good 5-6 inchs we could have gone up more we thought for sure we would have to lower the car more then we did but nope cleared it noi problume.

I took the picture of his ass!! and it was I who painted the car flourescent green with ac fluid :icon_razz Was a fun day though.
