I was hoping someone could help me here.

Here is basically as it stands - I've found a guy on ebay who is parting out a black :))), 92 :)):)) in excellent condition :))), which he's willing to sell to me :)):):))

There are however two problems:

- The car has already had it's interior pulled.

- It means that I'll have to sell or part out my beloved 88 (which has a major sentimental value to me).

Should I save this 92, or is the fact that the interior has been pulled make it worthless? (I understand that the main attraction to 92s (aside from the rarity are the options that where available).

Help me SM :(

If the old one has sentimental value store it. Buy the 92 swap interiors and drive it. When your inside it it'll still feel like home. My two shiny pennies.

Isn't your car now a rust bucket? (iirc)

The rust gods were kind and "just" lumbered me with panel rust. I stripped the car down to the bare bones in the summer and couldn't kind any rust on the chassis. Also had it up on a ramp and everything seemed solid from underneath. With a couple of replacement panels (I'm hoping) it'll be fine.

Don: It's just a car ;)

I remember back in my younger days when I sort of had that idealogy (Sentiments with a car) then nowadays, I don't have it anymore. Haha. No idea why I lost it, oh well.

If the interiors is not shadow .... then I wouldn't car for it. Do you want to go through the hassle of locating the interior if he does not include that?

The interior has already been sold as far as I understand.

I suppose installing an interior from a older car is a bit pointless then?

I agree.
The reason most people like the 92 model is the rarity, but The interior
( shadow) , and other options like the Sunroof, etc make it more desirable, otherwise its just another MKIII>
Putting an older interior definitely would be pointless.

if the price is that great would it be really hard to wait until you find an interior for it? i suppose a 92 interior in full would be very hard to come by though. i dont check the FS threads for that kind of thing.

To 91/92 owners: Did you buy your car solely because of the extra features that were offered in that year, or was it the rarity that mainly attracted you?
