I have a space to put it, but it means getting rid of my 88. Either way the car that I choose to use in the project is going to be subject of a pretty extensive rebuild

That lip wasn't specific to JZA70s.

aside from that, it appears to be a hardtop from the low resolution pictures that guy sent you... if it IS, you ought to buy the car. itd be the rarest of the rare, short of the gay Sea-foam green color.

Except for the steering wheel being on the wrong side , it looks like it could be saved. I think that lip is beyond salvage though, regardless of the rarity of it.

It's not a JZA70 or TTR specific lip.

The lip actually came before the TTR was even out. I have pics of it in the JDM 89 Supra brochure. 7M-GTE equipped Supra. Before the JZA70 was even out. 3.0GT Turbo Limited. Sawblades, 7M, square nose emblem, digi dash, lip with ducts.

To 91/92 owners: Did you buy your car solely because of the extra features that were offered in that year, or was it the rarity that mainly attracted you?

Rarity was part of it. 6 1/2" speakers up front rocks... However, it now has a pre-89 front, a 2JZ/5spd swap, and it's a targa, so it's just another Supra now with bigger front speakers.

Thanks for the opinions expressed in this thread, but I've decided against the 92 and am going to stick with my 88.

If anyone wants that lip or anything else from the car, I'll put you in contact with the seller/buy it on your behalf and ship it out to the states.
