I won't know for sure if the holder will clear until I get a shift in there but with how far the boot moves it looks promising. I am going to be spacing it out a bit further so it functions properly. If it hits then I will buy a short throw shifter. Lol.

IS300 coils arrived. :)

That IS300 Coil retrofit is pure win.

Very nice work Jamie.

I love it. Just looks so right in there. This mod solved my coil pack dilemma and cleaned it up even more.

Tonight I went out and wrapped 2 runners on the manifold. That stuff is not fun to work with. Gloves are recommended. I will definitely be picking up some silicone spray to shoot it with once done. It already looks better than the discoloured stainless.

Tonight again!

I finished as much studying as I wanted to do by 11:30 so I went out and wrapped the rest of my manifold. Turned out pretty good. I don't like the metal zip ties. This should help keep the engine bay a little cooler and I think it looks better than the manifold did before. I wonder how it would look if I wrapped the whole manifold.

Spent some more money. Picked up a can of the DEI Silicone spray for the header wrap. Also got some mouting hardware for my oil cooler and some new Auto Meter gauges. I wanted them all to match and the silver faced oil pressure gauge was bugging me. A few hundred later and I have a new pyrometer and oil pressure gauge as well as a new sender for the water temp gauge. Will be hooking all these up when the stuff arrive and I think I will be much happier with the results.

Some pics because I take pics of everything.

So I spent some money.

Bought a few new gauges, sensors and other things to mount gauges with. Had to have them all be the same colour or it would have bothered me. The 3 Autometer's will go in the stereo surround and the other 2 will be on the A pillar. I have also ditched the carbon fiber piece and have sent dimensions out to have a trim bezel for all 3 CNC'd from aluminum. Should make them spaced more evenly and just look more finished.

Here is the expensive item. Stupid diff. All that money just to have a working LSD. Fuck. It also doesn't help that they painted it a stupid silver colour. I really wish they would have asked. Black with raw aluminum cover would have suited me fine...

Did you see the Retro-Spec stereo surround? It has room for 3 gauges. Just a thought.

You're right about the diff. Black would've been better. Why don't you just paint it over?

Not looking to spend much money to mount the gauges. My uncle has a CNC mill and should be able to do it for me pretty cheap.

I want to paint it but I have nowhere to do it right now. The only solace I have is that you really can't see it when it's on the car.
