I didn't get out of work until eleven like tonight. If there are common days that everyone goes to a certain place I'll give up the work day to go.

the car I want to bring back up to stock, at least.

Its just run down really. Leaks out of all kind (trans, engine, and vacuum) got codes 25, 26, and 51. So I'm going to the Zone ha. The guy who owned it kept it dry under a tarp but drove it like crap. So far center support bearing has been replaced with the autozone special that I welded to fit right and it still vibrates haha. I'm doing the shaftmasters one piece before I ruin the first gear from my impatient foot.

sounds to me that you need to throw some work and money at this car before it takes a huge crap.

is the head gasket stock? if so then torque it to 70ft/lbs or whatever the guys on the forum tell you to torque it to

no more autozone parts... oreillys auto is the way to go.
you should never have to customize stock replacement parts

i hope to see you at our next meet

I got a quote from Elmhurst Toyota Scion outta Illinois.

11312-42010 gasket, list 4.57 cost 3.49
11313-42020 gasket, list 5.94 cost 4.53

Those are the two timing gear cover gaskets. You're right about the wrong part# for the hose in the back. I'm going to check the price on that hose and place an order tomorrow. If that hose is cheaper than Alamo did you want one? Are you willing to wait for it to arrive, or are you going with Alamo Toyota?
I'm going to ask how much their O2 sensor is as well. Are you interested in one of those?

And WTF is "fortnight"??

I was still waiting for a quote from Jay Marks/ Champion Toyota, but I'm sure they're prices are going to be really close. If he doesn't reply by tomorrow when I'm ready to place the order then I'm going with Elmhurst Toyota.

He and the other guy from Jay Marks is on Supra forums. Keep in mind they can get any toyota parts... including stuff for your pick 'em up. What was the price qoute on that rubber hose? What was the shipping cost? Alot of the time it would be worth it to order stuff from them even if you're paying for shipping. No Toyota dealership will come close to their prices.

Michael it's Elmhurst Toyota out of Illinois http://www.supraforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=100.

What other days would you be available for others to help you out with your car? What all are you doing to it?

Change out the whole turbo set up as in T4? Or just changing the CT26?
Have you tried hosting you pics through imageshack.com?
