Got a new master installed, bled, and brakes are damn good! I'm going to SAR tonight.

Frank, I got the pipes from David, cut them up and fitted them how I like them, took them to get welded up. I believe David got them from ebay? I don't know.

Ok cool thanks. I thought it was a local store. By the way the supra is about to be sold I think this weekend. I just had some one offer me the right price. It's a little impractical for the kids and I. I got another daily in building right now.

I can't go to SAR tonight. My brakes are binding. I have to adjust my brake booster rod length. Again, brakes are binding. Sorry, I can't make it out. Does anybody know Miguel's phone number? If so, can you call him and let him know I can't make it out just in case he doesn't get this message.

Cancel, cancel, cancel. I'm going to drive this car around and make sure the brakes aren't binding. I'll make adjustments if necessary. I don't want to risk going clear across town and get stranded cause my brake welded themselves to the rotor. I'll play it safe tonight and try to go to Midnight Madness tomorrow night.

I left the house last night just before 7pm. Car felt like it was dragging a little. I got on the highway and notice the car was going into boost just to maintain a constant speed. I had to turn back quickly before my brakes would sieze. When I came to a stop I could smell my brakes getting hot. I made it home, and pulled the MC from the booster with the lines still attatched. I got access to the adjusting rod and shortened it. I drove it around a 5mile radius from home to test it just incase I needed to get a tow home. I have AAA from my insurance and wasn't sure what the milage limit was. I kept it close to home though. It seems like it's good now, but I might have to shorten it just a hair more. I'm going to do that today and see how it goes. I'm thinking of going to Midnight Madness tonight.

I just got back. I was really hoping to break into the 12 second barrier, but was not successful. Best time was a 13.16 @ 108.72mph. I did drop a tenth, and pick up 7mph since the last time I was out. My problem is getting off the line. I'm still working on it. I took my camera, but don't have any vids cause I didn't know anybody there to trust with it. Anyway, off to bed.

What engine and setup? A mkiii right? I did a 13.6 at 104 in my s13 240sx ka24de with a baby t28 turbo 13psi. I couldn't launch hard so I was just rolling off the line.

Yes, it's a MKIII 7m. Stock shortblock, T4 Garrett 60trim @ 15psi. P&P head, 550cc's, walbro, lex afm, act sprung six Puck w/ stock PP. Cartech intercooler w/ 2.5" hardpipes, greddy type S BOV. Nitto drag radials. That's about it.

Got your message Rufus but I was already at the track. I didn't run the car that night since I still hadn't changed the studs. I only saw 1 pass of a drag Civic before I got a call that one of my friends was at the hospital and had to leave. He's doing better now after 3 surgeries and possibly a fourth on the way that could be a transplant.

Sorry Miguel, didn't mean to cancel on You so abruptly. I hope your friend makes a speedy recovery.

I had a 2.2 short time. I just couldn't get a half decent launch for the life of me. I either hook and bog, or spin. You have to understand I have a lazy turbo. I don't get full boost 'til around 4200rpm. I have to launch at a high rpm. I need to get a newer better spooling turbo.

I think our cars weigh in at 3700 stock. A s13 is way below that. The supra was built as a luxury sport and the s13 was a good car just with out all the bells and whistles of the supra. I am going to miss my car he is picking it up tomorrow morning. Maybe in the near future another supra will come into my life.

Ya my coupe weighs 2550 without me in it. Haha
if you can hook up I'm sure you can get a nice time.

On my best run I did slip the clutch and manage to keep the boost up. I thought that was going to be my 12second pass. Nope, 2.2 60foot killed it. Funny thing was last time I was out at SAR, I managed a 2.0 which isn't good either. But if I could've hit a 2.0 on my latest best run it would have been in the 12.90's range.

I remember back in the day, 15 years ago, I used to be able to cut 1.9 60ft times on street tires. Of course I have an upgraded CT26 50trim wheel that was spool happy. I used to be able to quickly slip the clutch at 3000rpm and move out. I can't do that with this turbo I have now. This car is a dog until around 4000 rpm. It sucks. I wish I wasn't going through all this dental work now, I'd buy myself a better spooling turbo. Maybe even a 2step to build a little boost off the line. I be that would make a world of a difference.
