I still ended up going to SAR for import night, I was representing VW in my friends Jetta though. There was quite a few people there although I'm sure more people would have shown up if the weather had been better. Luckily it didn't rain and the track was dry. We took a few videos of the passes, ill try an upload them soon.

I was going to go too, but came up with a problem. I tried to bleed my brakes and found out that my front brakes do not work. I bled my Master Cylinder (MC) twice again, and all four corners. Rears work fine, front still didn't work. I disassembled the MC, and all the seal inside looked fine. I'm thinking my proportioning valve (PV) shut off the front brakes. I stopped working on it last night cause I had to take the family out to eat. Today I'm going to disconnect the front brake line after the PV and pump the pedal to see if anything comes out. If it does then I'll do the same just after the ABS module and check there. I'll see what I come up with.

I'll look into that. I am kinda curious as to what I"m putting down. Just want to get a baseline before I start tuning.

No I just ran his car that night; I don't want to run untill I fix the exhaust leak that seems to be getting worse every start up. I have all the gaskets I'm just waiting on the studs to come in.
Are you gonna make it out on the 21st?

Ill try and get the others soon, my best pass of the night was a 15.2 but got a pretty steady 15.4. Not bad for it being basically stock aside from an intake and a blow off valve.

Yeah, I'm shooting for the 21st. Just need to get my lazy ass in the garage and bleed these brakes. I'm really hoping my proportioning valve isn't messed up.

I checked the tracking on my studs and they're supposed to come in tomorrow. I might go Friday so I'm hoping I get some free time to put them in before then. Let me know if you need one, I might be able to source one from a junk yard.

I used to go to Biffs all the time but havent been in awhile. I've never been or heard of the Lowes meet. My exhaust stud kit just came in yesterday and I havent gotten a chance to change them so running the car down the track is out for now, but I think i might go anyway to spectate if its Import night. Did you ever gets your brakes fixed Rufus?

Not yet. I just got in. I'm going to bleed them in about an hour with a vacuum pump and see if it's any better. I'm speculating that I have a bad master cylinder, and I just got this one as a warranty replacement for the last one. If I get the brakes working good in the next couple of hours then yeah, I'm going to SAR. If not I'll let you guys know by at least 3pm this afternoon.

Nope doesn't sound familiar.

I drove my car 65 miles yesterday! With no muffler, man it was freaking loud but it made it home.

Welp, off to O'Reilly's to get another master cylinder. I narrowed it down to the MC. Will tell you guys details later.
