I am officially speed density now. I just have to gain some knowledge on how to street tune and get it running smoothly. It runs on the generic fuel table supplied, but AFR's are across the board leaning towards the rich side.

Trust me I want to. I've been pretty busy lately. Have you fixed your issues yet? Are you ready for round 2?
I've been pretty busy as well. Summer kicked in and its busy time. Yeah, I changed all my vacuum hoses back to rubber with new clamps and that made a world of a difference. That weird noise on the top end went away as well although i havent really pushed it too hard. Let me know when you guys get some free time and we should set something up.

Alright guys I spent more than i though on a steering wheel for the Supra and now i really do have to sell a few parts to make up for it. Like i mentioned before I have a new still in the box mishimoto radiator that is plug and play for our cars. I also have a new replica Gracer Whale tail spoiler from Shine Auto that i never got around to put on the car. Im looking for $200 for the radiator and $150 for the wing. I would prefer selling to you guys since i can meet you somewhere and save me the cost and hassle of shipping large items but if no one is interested ill just bite the bullet. If anyone is interested, speak now or forever hold their peace since they'll go up on the for sale thread and ebay if no interest shows by the end of the week. :biglaugh:

Hey guys, I'm just here kicking back put down a couple of Coronas. That beer sucks BTW. I haven't realized it until today, but then... I've haven't drank it in over 13 years. Anyhow, just chattin. I've been driving my Supra to work and back this week. I haven't driven it in a while. I've put about 3000 miles on it since I got it up and running last summer. Feel kinda bad that I've waited over 10 years to get this car on the road, and now that's it running I don't drive it much. I like it, but running on low boost (10psi) kinda sucks. And because of my laziness I can't raise the boost cause I'm too lazy to find out how to tune this MAP ECU. In all honesty, I really don't have much time to mess with it. I'm too busy hanging out with the family. It's summer time, and I have to keep this boy busy. That's about it for now. I'm going to turn off the water sprinkler in the back yard right now and get some shut eye. I'll chat with you guys later.

Frank, PM me you number again. I haven't forgot about you I've just been a little busy.
Hey guys do ya'll remember when I said my car feels pretty decent in first and second gear then falls on its face on the big end? Today I couldn't build more than 5psi of boost. I look around for leaks and found that my throttle body to intercooler pipe coupler had a pretty big split in it. I wonder how long it's been like that. I did inspect it before putting it on when I built up my car. Haven't looked at it since until discovering its failure today. I wonder if that was affecting my 1/4 times. Who knows? I replaced it with an old greddy BOV coupler I had laying around. Fixed my problem and it feels a little bit stronger on top of third gear now.

Hey Rufus,
Thanks for the flywheel. I took some preliminary measurements and it's confirmed that the last owner put the wrong flywheel on the car. The stock one is much thicker than that lightweight one. I found a link that shows what different between the two. There's not tooo much difference but the areas that are different make a huge difference. Got parts orderd today to get the engine back in. Going to start sanding the engine bay rust down starting Monday.....maybe.

No Mercy,
Glad to see you decided to buy a 3600lb money pit. Is this your first Supra? Is that a grey supra i it your pic? Hopefully we'll all be up and running this summer. Mine runs but i think i like it better when the engine is on an engine stand. I'm trying to tackle some rust issues and find a place to paint the car. I should be back on the road in about 2-3wks.

Midnight Madness 6/9/2012.

I'm going tomorrow to see what the 'ole Supra will do. My booty dyno is telling me that my car is pulling a little stronger since I've changed that throttle body coupler. It was split, and was leaking boost. I'm not too sure if it was split when I ran my car last time, but I do remember that my car felt like it lost its steam on the top end. We'll let the numbers tell the truth as I don't trust my butt dyno. It's been calibrated for a Mazda Protege for the last 10 years so I'm sure it's kinda off.

If you're not doing anything tomorrow, head on out there. Gates open at 8pm, racing begins at 9pm. They run until 2am, but I never stay that late. Don't quote me on this, but I think it's $10 to spectate, and $15 to race.

I'll try to make it, have some obligations until 9 or so, but may come out immediately afterwards!

On a side note, an ex-tenant who I am unable to track down got a check in the mail here, in the tune of about $2200... DAMNIT, I wish I could cash it lol
