So i finally decided to work on my car. Drove out to Buda, Tx to swap out my busted TEMS shocks and springs for my brother in laws donor car. Car has been on stands for a month now so i needed to do something ......anything. Anyway...the donor TEMS still has life in them. Drove the car (illeagally again) around the hood for about 45min and even with these old azz OG set you can feel the difference from normal and sport. Did a few burnouts also.....car has some power even at stock. Did find some other issues as usual but not too big. Sooo i guess im done with getting it running jus need legal. I guess i'll be hittin up the finance dept for upgrades......hope shes in a good mood in the coming months. A little shoppin spree should soften her up.

Well.....went fishing today. Took the wifey for an illegal cruise in da slowpra. Just wanted to let her see that the car was pretty fun to drive. She gets out and starts saying i need to do something about the suspension and rims and tires. She even threw out there something about more power. I was a little light headed on the first idea so i didnt catch the end...lol. But it looks like for now she's onboard for my resurrection project.

Lol....thats too funny. But for realz ....i think she liked it enough to let me get it to where i want it. I just have some family stuff to take care of and its on. Rufus as far as that turbo....l'll pass on that. I want a setup like Davids. Went to his house today and we took a spin in his car.....that thing hits pretty damn good. I think he can get 350-400hpat out of it easy.

Thanks again Darrel for helping me drop my trans. If you would have had that last top bolt out it would have went by faster. :aigo: Oh, and we've determined that it's easier to drop the trans with the starter taken out. Many people have said you don't have to take it out, but I feel it's easier to unbolt it. Hell, if you have enough mechanical skill to remove a transmission taking out and re-installing a starter should be a breeze.

Now on to the carnage pics:

Flywheel if glazed over and had cracks all around it.

Pressure plate looked the same. It looks like the clutch disc deposited material on the PP.

Clutch disc. I take it that it started to shred and deposited material on both the PP and FW.
