Making lots of progress Ryan! Can you give me more info on the problem with your Energy bushings? I bought a full set, how can I check to see if mine are correct?

Also, how are you going to use those arms to reduce toe in under power? As you know my car with the stock bushings toes in like crazy.

You are tempting me to start ripping my car apart to get these bushings in, but I'm dreading it and procrastinating heavily!

Maybe we can have a little road race when you are up and running? :D

well first off doing bushing is just plain no fun hell i am suppost to be doing it right now lol bu the tv caught my eye for a bit

getting the stuck bolt out 10 times not fun

but the arms will pull the slack out and make stuff tighter and reduce toeing in and out and will not hop when wet out like other fixed arms do

it pretty simple to make as well so it why not thing

well i guess i will go work on my car as much as i love working on bushings and do little bit more grinding on my oil pan

sigh

ps brad a little bit of windy road fun is not that bad of an idea

well as i said before i will have pic's up

i got some stuff done yesterday woot woot

stuff that got done oil pan is completed

i changed it up some and tested it with water for slosh etc and works good i am glad i did not add another deflector cause it simply would not be needed
reason being is if water does not have issue since it's heavier they oil will not have issue at all

p1329528_2.jpg

p1329528_3.jpg

stuff that i did yesterday was remove the knuckle and push some bushings out

i suggest if you are doing this leave the e brake shit alone and just undo the cable form the car much easier

the only issue i had was when i was pushing out the bushings some of the
e brake guide pins would comes off but there cake to put back together

and i cleaned up allot yesterday cause well to much mess for me to take lol

nice toby

but i must say the low a arm will not be made is just not need for me right now sinc ei just put brand new ball joint's in and it be waste to throw them away

cause maken a new lower arm useing the stock ball joint's is to hard and wonte really improve on any thing

now on the other hand if was to change my ball joints then there whould be good reson to do it

as for the front sub frame i think going to drop that idea as well well for now

i still got some stuff up my sleav thou

well i have mixed thoughts on the energy bushings kit it not a slap together kit as i hoped

i was finishing the rear part of the car and the upper a arms and lower trailing arms bushing's had to be Shavian down so they would fit proper i used Palm sander

at lest the pin's are correct

p1335897_4.jpg

all right what i have done to get it to the point were i am at now

i found the front a arm bushings to be cake walk to push out

but the rear's well not so much more of hell taken them out but i found a good easy fast way to getting them out

tools you need

long bolt
vise
big pry bar
some thing sharp

p1335897_5.jpg

slice off other rubber

p1335897_6.jpg

grab a arm and slid bolt though hole clamp really good in vise
grab pry bar slip it in and pry on one side and then swap to the other
side and hold the arm arm with the other hand and she should pop out after some prying it take fair amount of force

p1335897_7.jpg

p1335897_8.jpg

this is my cake booking it to safety after loud bang happen air gun line found it funny cause he has never went up there before

p1335897_9.jpg

here is some pic's of my trailing arms installed and the bushing's i had to shave down to fit with a sander pretty much all the rear had to be sanded pretty sad the front was blessing to do the rear umm fit's like crap but can be made to fit

p1335897_10.jpg

p1335897_11.jpg
