While the Civic and the Supra have a very similar spoiler, one is rice, while one is not. How is this possible? Power, my friend. Power is the key to what is rice, and what is not. Also, choosing tasteful mods that compliment the car's overall shape and features without distracting you and making you wonder why...


However, Cosworth or not, you are a ricer at heart. I don't want to upset you by saying this, but the evidence is overwhelming. You don't have a Supra, or even a Toyota for that matter. You were browsing through this site for whatever reason, and the fact that we were making fun of ricers angered you to the point where you were forced to create an account, recieve the activation email, click the link, log in, find the post again, and make a long-winded post about how we're oh-so mean and ricers are people too...

Sorry bud.... facts are facts.




carbon fibre arm rest certainly is not rice...

That civic's putting down at least 300whp. Those taillights alone are like 50-60whp!
The wing is needed to pull those front tires off at highway speeds when he needs to fly away from the rice following him.

There is no difference, Rice is Rice. I think that wing on the Supra looks ugly, who cares if it's got 10 billion HP. Yes the wing would actually help the Supra out, and not help the Civic out, but I still think it's rice.

I don't wanna lock this thread, so be nice to each other people.

Ok now that bottom picture is not rice. That is auto customization to THE MAX and it takes so much skill and hard work to get that done.

psh that's not rice, it's type R for ravaging...neuspeed just means it ravages faster. The extra intakes are to fight the massive amounts of heat generated in the process of ravaging, the chrome engine housings are to confuse the laser targeting systems on SAM's, and I'm sure the extra wing houses a nuclear warhead of some sorts!

If it were rice those jet turbines would be replaced with 4 cylinder billet prop engines (with VTEC of course), there'd be mad stickers all over the sides and back of the cockpit, those 5 spokes would be spinners, the nosecone would be made from carbon fiber, and insted of bombs and rockets the wing would be armed with a full payload of projector lights and LED pods.

where's some pics of this cosworth? how'd u get it into the states and registered?

if it's a track-only thing then you're bringing an orange into this apple discussion.

however i agree that there are too many na's or mostly stock supras with body kits or other similar rice crap. it's annoying but what can you do? luckily there isn't too many of those here in the bay, but the few we have run into are ostracized and disappear pretty quickly :)

I wish I had my camera with me at work. We get all kinds of rice.
Yesterday a kid in a 95 Bonneville came in cuz he didnt know why his engine was squeeking...
He had a Filter right next to the exhaust manifold, said he had some crazy double filter idea in mind that he hasn't finished yet.
All red(faded to pink) vacuum lines, and spray painted his support bars and ebay strut tower bar red without masking anything else off... so everything had a bit of red on it.
And his system was a total hack job, I couldn't even look at it.

Turns out the problem was when he put his belt on it was hanging off by 2 ribs on the crank pulley. Problem was he thought he knew everything about the car and acted like he was smarter than every tech in the garage. We had a good time making fun of him whenever he had something to say.
