true... haha... i had kinda forgotten the fact that it had splilt down my motor mout and down onto the lip for the oil pan... at first i thought it was my oil pan and i was so furious i coudlnt believe it, i just walked away...
i just use a rag and some degreaser. i made sure to clean it all up since i was going to start the car and the exhaust exited by the end of the transmission!
im goin to bed though, so god damn tired, i spent 45mins bent over on the ONE turbo bolt on the lower side towards the manifold...

started it up today after getting 2 gallons from a friend, nice guy, and it started up and idled perfect, just need the idle to riase like 250-300RPM and i'll be much happier.. i believe timing is at 4-5degrees on the marks, its hard to see it so im going to put some white out on the mark and see if that helps.

haha nice! took it for a drive around the block, and this project needs TONS more TLC... brakes need attention, my exhaust leak is kinda big (by the back muffler), i need to replace a missing diff bolt (its just GONE... wtfffff???) i need a new glove box, or to glue the other mounting tab back on, because im not down with a sagging ass glove box!
but my turbo xs bov is sooooo loud, i NEVER thought it was going to be that loud. shit was crazy! (at 0psi) but my brakes need some new pads and rotors, and probably some new SS lines.
and this is what im thinkin for wheels...

but not too sure... i think black or chrome/polish on a burgandy car looks good. which is nice... and makes buying wheels a ton easier.

Set the timing to TSRM specs, my idle is now 650 and smoooooth as butter. cars dont like to idle at 16 degrees BTDC... haha

I moved my igniter, and my slight miss is much less noticable, but its back, so im going to make a custom ground cable for that tomorrow.
glad to hear your random dying was just gas.I'm having the same problem right now, starts up and i got like 19 in/hg and everything is hooked up right but it dies so I'm getting some new gas once i get everything back together.I had about 1 gallon of 2 yr old gas in there.How old was your gas?

yup, gas related, but i left my return line and feed line open for the past 6 months... so most evaporated! hahahaha. now i have over a half tank and it'll run for however long i feel like. here are some new pics! and yes, im offically no longer a 'supra stick' owner... (see pics)

love my e-fan. still have to order the controller though... i get paranoid about the temps. and i wanna order a set of water temp, oil pressure, and boost/vacuum gauge for the cluster...
but right now im going over it in my head, and in excel, haha... im weighing out my options as far as keeping both supras, or if i sell just one... and what other cars i wouldnt mind. i for sure have to sell my black 86.5... but... debating on the turbo 90 right now...

no insurance until i sell the black one. which i just sanded all today so i can re-paint it with some semi-gloss black. im trying to trade it for a 90 miata... but we'll see how it all works out.
im kinda tired of the whole supra gig... wouldnt mind a new project. supras are power houses no doubt... but, i dont have the kind of money to get where i want to be with it. not to mention i'll never have it under 3,000LBS or less....
which is why i want a miata, 2200lbs~ and i can boost it up to like 10psi on stock internals. but its all hopes and dreams right now. gotta to make a for sale ad for the red one and go get a non-op on it.

yep, headers, full 2.5" exaust, fipk, toikico's all the way around, tanabe drop springs, eibach swaybars. and it has 54k original miles. I'll probably be out in your direction in a couple of weeks. I'll give you a call.
im done with this car. its not really affordable for me anymore... im gonna go convert it back to a clutch fan, and put that big ass 14'' as a pusher and have it left on the switch...
although im gonna finish it, it just needs somebody who isnt trying to save every penny... but im still gonna drive it around for the time being.
