I too am considering installing trannyless to protect the engine bay paint. But I probably won't due to being scared of the later tranny install labor.

j/k - lol. Looking good. I was wondering the same thing supraboostin, are you installing the motor without the tranny?? Is a lot more work in my opinion.

Yes installing the motor with out tranny... Tranny is going off for rebuild/build up...Im not worried about installing it later, as I wont be doing it, my friend will, he's done half a dozen R154 installs and prefers the motor in, so, as you wish man...

If you have a leveller and 2 people you can get it in without damaging the paint, mine had an engine bay respray and we managed to get the complete motor Turbo to FFI and Group A Pan in without a mark
(GrpA Pan makes life hard)

Covered everything with cardboard just in case...

I gave you a good hint on your other thread just now . You might as well post up the solids motor mounts that you have in the fs section.

They just started paint this weekend. I still haven't pulled the lower intake off but I'm going to sometime this week and send it out. And then start on some mirror polishing. still a ways away.
