what do you guys think of a twin 14b setup? im thinking of looking into this more as a cheap way to get to my goals (4-500 wheel) and doesnt look to be impossible. these turbos can make 300-350 wheel in an AWD 1g. I know a TON of DSM people that cant give away their 14bs to top it off. just need to figure out the oil lines and get some 14b flanges. I know that Greddy used the 14bs for some of their turbo kits (scion tc comes to mind). Im thinking that i could have the flanges welded onto the stock manifolds (ported obviously) and modify a china y-pipe to work.

Guys,
The engine is at the tuner's at the moment. When the engine is tuned it will be tested on an engine teststand (max capability: 1500hp)
I hope to deliver the numbers around november at the earliest, so only a few more months and then the numbers will be known :naughty:
With some nice pictures and a upgrade list of course.

that seems like a hell of alot of work and plumbing, there are alot of easier ways to reach that range (on race gas) that wont a) cost as much and b) be as much of a pain in the ass.

WOW resurrecting my old thread now. Just got a twin entry single outlet intercooler and am waiting to get back from the sand box to start working on the kit again.

Another ressurection sorry peeps, I picked up some skyline turbos to check the fitment on the manifolds. I will take pics this weekend but I haven't got my hands on a 1JZ yet so I can't make too many plans just yet. I got back from the desert in Feb of this year and moved to SOCAL in APR and now I am getting settled in and getting ready to start building again. I can't believe it's already been 3 years this fast and I still don't have an engine for my baby.

The turbos came off of a skyline R33 Vspec that had low miles and no smoke or play in them. I got a real good deal from a civilian before I left hawaii and his car was emaculate, by the way the turbos only cost me $200 since I wanted both turbos.
