Ok, well searching answered a few of my questions but I was curious about other input on this.
I installed the R154 one my n/a last week and everything seemed to be working alright. No problems shifting or going into gear at all. My friend had mentioned replacing the shifter bushing which I have done now.
The thing is it makes somewhat of a weird noise when accelerating and decelerating, a noie I did not hear when I had my GTE installed. I followed the installaion procedure in the tsrm and greased everywhere that it reccomended and it still sounds strange.
I used some brake kleen to get all of the old grease off the surfaces of the clutch and disc while I had it out and regreased the fork but I don't believe I greased the throw-out bearing. I don't recall spaying brake kleen on it either. It seems to have trouble going into 3rd and 4th at times and the engagement areas I feel through the stick don't seems to be in the exact right places.
Technically it still works, it just doesn't feel right and that sound is really making me wonder as I haven't found the cause for it yet.
It's almost like a mechanical whine or maybe reminiscent of an electric motor.
It's a 6-puck ACT and I used the exact same flywheel that I had on it before.
I quite positive I installed it correctly but still open to suggestions that I f'd something up.
Thanks for any help guys.
