can you re-die the material back to black?

I'm probably going to wait until I get my check in so I can get the material dye/paint and color the carpet black and touch up the seats :)

No 7M/1J/2J for this girl... dunno what this car will see......

I will be building a high hp n/a engine eventually, but I don't know if I'll put it in this car, or wait for another one.

Arghhhh

so 20 minutes into it, I get my headlight covers off... struggled with one of the bolts because it was stripped, and then it fucking starts downpouring :madfawk:

And of course, as I'm typing this, the sun comes back out! :icon_evil

Yet again, welcome to the Pacific NW, LOL

Get used to our bi-polar weather system ;)

Looks like you've almost got enough parts in the back of that truck to build another engine!

So it stopped raining for a few, and Aaron (RabidChimp) and I got the hood on...

She looks semi-normal now! YAY!

Front end is still seriously tweaked... I was going to pull the header panel off and attempt to straighten it, but the weather is holding me back today...

Tanya, it really looks awesome. I'm jealous.

Haha, would like to know where you see any "awesomeness" :)

My buddy Matt swung by for a little bit in his dad's car...

Aaron notched the hood brackets so we could scoot the hood back as far as possible, hoping it would clear the header panel...

I tweaked out the fender a bit to get the side of the bumper to go back under it

Aaron working on the hood latch piece in the middle... right now we're having issues with it closing all the way. This car is making me want to kick it, but I'm refraining...

Hood closes and clears the header panel (just barely). needs a little more tweaking, but definitely looks 50 times better than it did with the red hood and headlight covers.

OK, so today I tweaked the front end out a little bit more to get a "tad" more space between the hood and header panel.

Also, took both valve covers off, soaked them in brake cleaner, then used air to blast away a lot of the left-over black shit and then hit them on the grinder.

Was going to paint them today, but realized we didn't have enough of the ceramic paint I want to use... so another time then...
