I'm trying to gather some ideas on my FFIM since I now have to modify it like I want it and I'm just looking to gather some ideas. Please post up pictures of your FFIM and if it retains AC or not. Will be much appreciated and should help other members as well. Thanks!

OH sweet you guys freakin rock! And I thought I was gonna be the first to run intercooler piping like that.

Spoolint78- are you running a 3 inch pipe off that manifold?

MKIIINA- love the setup, did Ron make that whole setup with the alternator bracket too? Its different I like it.

Thank you guys so much for these pictures they reinspired me!

Yes, it retains the A/C...Seth custom made this one for me.

JDub that thing looks wicked and I love that it retains AC, I don't see why some Supra owners ditch it for a few pounds. Can't wait to see that in action.

Keep these coming, there are many more designs than I thought existed here.

yes ron made the whole thing and my buddy christian fabbed up the IC piping. i needed to lose the AC condenser fans and the piping is reallllllly close to the rad but it fits (have removed it a few times to clean it and mess with the tps). i am running a koyo rad so its a touch thicker than stock also btw

ron r. FFIM, accufab 75mm TB, mustang TPS, no CSI, or ISC. and no, the AFPR isn't sitting there anymore. it's relocated, and the car is under the knife, so that's why there's crap everywhere. (and no, i have no wires on the driver's side fenderwell, and no sensors;))

Dave, nice manifold! Finally another mail box!

Dont laugh at my box, it was made before most of you people even owned an MK3... i know it was before i bought mine! its from 2000-ish... its a 4 liter surge tank, no ISC, no CSI. 3 vaccum ports on the rear, 1 is plugged. its a pre-89 throttle body bored to accept a 65mm Mustang throttle plate. It retains the AC as well. i made my own drop bracket. i also modified the throttle linkage to clear the PCV hose.

no, the TB was bored out so much, the inlet was paper thin. when i was test fitting the alternator on the drop bracket, i was moving it around thru its pivot and it found a loose spot and i bump the TB with the alternator case. i cut back that edge of the TB so it has an unmolested edge. then, i took a 3" mandrel bent elbow and slid it on to figure out the angle to clear the alternator and get the position you now see. since the TB is 2.75" OD and the elbow was 3.0" OD, i cut another 1/2" ring of the 3.0" OD tubing. i split it and filed down the ends, like a piston ring. with a gap, i could compress it to use it as a shim to take up the difference in diameter between the 3.0" OD elbow and the TB itself. thats why there are 2 welds on the TB elbow. it worked out perfectly though. i love the fitment. the silicone elbow and cold pipe fit up as if it were a bolt-on kit.
