Got a reply from the seller, Alt relocation bracket is $90.00 stock flanged for a Q45 TB if you don't buy a TB from them. I wonder how good it is.

A question for the guys with alternator drop down brackets that aren't bolted directly to the block:

Are you guys experiencing any problems with the belt loosening due to the alternator being bolted to something that can also move? For example, jimi87-t's bracket is bolted directly to the engine and not the engine hook, making the alternator the only piece that can move. The ones that are bolted to the engine hook seem like they could kick out one way or another since they don't have an absolute position. Are they wedged somehow or is there just enough friction from the bolt to keep it in place?

Anybody take notice the shipping costs:aigo: :aigo: :aigo: ?!?!?!? RIDICULOUS! My Ct-26 is probably heavier and costs ten dollars to ship with insurance across a few states

Edit: NVM, its shipping all the way from japan......but still, its already expensive as it is.

Here's a picture of the actuall product, notice the alt. bracket as well? ;)

Looking at these guy's website I noticed that they make an aftermarket TB in sizes from like 70-90mm's that will accept the stock TPS sensor, pretty nice to have along with the manifold, but they are a pricey piece too, but I judge the power gains to be worth it.

I was wondering when someone would notice ;)

Here in AZ, we do dyno emissions testing...it is hard to pass without the EGR and NOX emissions is one of the nastiest there is. I get to see the brown cloud over the valley every time I drive into the city here in Phoenix.

Plus, the EGR will help to keep EGT's down and keep detonation in check at high boost. A bigger benefit IMO vs the small power lost. I am going to run this FFIM with an AEM EMS...Hot is correct though, if you're using a stock ECU, the fuel map is tuned for the EGR. It's best to keep it or get a JDM ECU that has a different factory fuel map for no EGR.

Question for those of you that are NOT using a stock plenum. Are you using velocity stacks? Have you bench flow tested each runner? If not, you have a good chance that you actually decreased airflow.
