I always like the idea of more useful fogs on the mkIII. Enter projector goodness. ;)

Kit is nearly complete. I still need to source more wire connectors and add the option of a clear, custom cut piece of plastic to fit over the round Lexus lens. Anyone know if any other cars use the stock foglight connector found on the mkIII?

The kit will feature fully adjustable horizontal and vertical movement, wiring harness that plugs straight into the stock connector and projector goodness. I will post a side by side comparison, but the difference between these and the stock fogs is huge.

These are plug and play. That means NO cutting wires, NO drilling/cutting/fabricating needed. You can keep your stock fogs and wiring completely intact.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Options you'd like to see?

Price is still in the air, but it shouldn't be much more than a pair of overpriced PIAA bulbs and will likely be a function of how clean the lexus lens is. It's hard to find lenses that haven't been to hell and back...

The output from these looks really good. I'd definitely be interested when the kit is finished.

The only problem I have is that I hate the look of the round lights in a nearly square hole...

I put a set of those fogs on my girl's AE92 Corolla; they look great and work really well..

There is also another set of rare Lexus foglights for the ES300, which are square and yellow. I haven't had a chance to work with those, so I'm not sure if they use yellow capsules or what they use.

Used these this week in the snow/rain and they help a ton more than the stock fogs. Really lights up the edges of the road in front of you.

Still waiting for a day off when it isn't raining/snowing so I can find more wiring connectors.

If anyone is interested and doesn't want to wait, I'll give a substantial discount if you can send me the foglight side connector with a few inches of wire still attached... ;) Say... $50 shipped back to you. That'd include bracket, Lexus fogs with bulbs, and wire connectors soldered, wrapped and insulated.

Otherwise hang tight for a for sale thread with at least handful of these kits available...

Damn, I'd love to do that, but I've just got too much going on right now, and the Sup's not even home yet. I'll have to wait until the regular sale goes up.:(

No worries. So long as I can find these with decent lenses or find a way to polish the glass, I'll have these available for some time.

im down, need a stock/square housing though. are these yellow or white?

Mine have selective yellow bulbs, but there is a yellow lense in these, so either way, they are yellow.

Yup, I was inspired by Super Secret's a while back, just never got around to picking up a pair and trying to mount them.

The difference with my idea or "kit" is that they will be entirely plug and play AND are fully adjustable left to right, up and down. ;) No drilling, no cutting, no wiring etc...

Simply unplug, unbolt, bolt in and plug in and turn on. :)

Updated first post with a few pics from this evening.

I'm still waiting to make a trip to the yards to see if I can't find more connectors. Hopefully some other Toyota uses that connector for something, but so far it's not looking like they'll be easy to find.

Should have a for sale thread up soon with a few sets of brackets/lights. Would anybody want JUST the brackets? I.E. supply your own lights and do your own wiring? I may have dried up a lot of the local yard inventory of lexus fogs... haha.

I now have 2 sets of these fog lights and am in the process of mounting them (and a lot of other processes which is why it's taking me so long to do something this simple)

Anyways, the question i have is has anybody found out the replacement part #'s or sources to get new glass covers? One of my sets is great, the other is pretty much trashed and might look like a diffused regular bucket it is so bad..... Any suggestions? They apparently had some paint overspray as well that has settled into the divots in the glass, i let them soak in 'Krud Kutter' which made the paint wipe-off easy but really didn't take anything else out, so now they are clean and still look sandblasted.

I may just try to put some plexibglass over the front and remove it all together
