Sweet! looks like I'm 1/2 a step ahead of you. But if you get it drivable tonight you'll finish up before me.

Worked on misc stuff, but basically my wiring is all hooked up, the car cranks now. I need to wire up the fuel pump and fuel lines, and figure out a way to ground the ignitors (i dont have that handy dandy mounting bracket they come with)... Probably a few more misc stuff, but if I do those 3 tomorrow, the car MAY start *cross fingers*.

That seems to be the issue with this swap, is getting the fuel pump to work with an RPM signal instead of always on. I just jumpered mine to start it, I have not found a great way yet.

Looks real good! The engine bay is coming along quite well!

What did you do for a brake booster?

I will look into running that FPECU for the 1UZ this weekend, I should have some time.

I just picked up another 1UZ to replace the one in my car. This new one I have seen run so there is a lot of guess work gone, the one currently in mine has a knock when it starts up. :(

Update time!

I have hooked up fuel lines, heater lines, power steering lines, coolant lines, worked on my wiring a bit and it started first try. Cha-ching. Few minor kinks to work out, but the thing starts up perfectly. Could not be happier. Some pics for now before it starts to move under its own power, enjoy.

Been working on the exhaust... Mig welding it for now, but I will run over it with the tig to flatten out the welds and make it look prettier. I am going for Dart Izumi (see google images) style exhaust on this... Continue with the budget build, two glasspacks were selected. This is my first time doing this and I hate it lol...
