The Maft Install Instructions say to tap the MAP Sensor to FPR Vac. When I inquired about that, Bob said that it was that line sees vac first. He also stated that T-ing it on the back of our plenum has a potential for problems because of the "pulses" from cylinder 6.

I and many others have ours T'd into the Plenum...

What is the MAP Reading at 'Key-On'? He could have one of the bad MAP Sensors.

Maybe he can post up a pic of his sensor...?

Well I hooked it up like my diagram and had a buddy watching my boost and my afr.... I didn't have my comp with me ... he said he saw my boost hit 14 psi on the maft and my afr between 10and10.5 so you were right about that but I will move those to the front of the manifold does itmatter where the bov goes???

So it should be T'd off the AFPR? Hmm yeah I can see the potential, I have not seen any problems that I have noticed, but this is good info...

It was reading IIRC 101 at KO, so I think it is ok and as you see with his latest post, I think he is saying that the gauge and MP are now reading about the same...

Thanks CJ...

So they are now close to matching - correct? (They being gauge and MaftPro) If yes, then good. BOV just needs to connect to a primary vacuum off of plenum (you no longer have the metal vacuum splitter that IIRC BOV connects to stock), I do not recall hearing any compressor surge, so I think you were good there... of course not sure if I would have heard it over that 4" SP ;-)

And of course as we knew already you are still on the rich side, but I would leave it there until you get some of the other things straighten out before you can begin fine tuning and leaning that out some...

Yeah they match pretty well and I was posting the afr so you would know they were still good after it was reading accurate pressure:)

not using etps gottadiesel and i didnt set it up i should probably just get an egt sensor and keep an eye on it that way i had origonally left it in open loop and was gonna tune the entire map but i was told that the tccs was better at tuning until boost so thats how it is now

after i get my engine put back together i think i am gonna get 750 injectors and then let vip take it from there

My issue no is nothing is happening when I turn the key, not even the starter.

Any ideas? I can hear stuff in the back of the car when I'm pressing the Throttle and generate a code 51, then it goes away after a cycle.

What can I do?

Is this related to your Maft install?

Got it going and will start tuning tomorrow. Running eTPS, Timing Monitor, ebc.
AFTER CHECKING EVERYTHING I REALIZED I WASN'T PRESSING IN THE CLUTCH!

Too busy thinking of everything else.

Lesson - working alone you can miss even the simple stuff.

Ok had my first log run, did two of about 10-15 minutes, and everything is working, No Codes! Not even the Code 41! eTPS kind of working, I have to do a better job at matching the kPa and RPM, but as for the feature it works perfect! Boost working, only boosted to 7-8psi. My Aux 1 (EFI voltage) is at 2.02-1.93 flutter with fuel psi set to 34psi with vac off and idles fine although I can still get it better.

Logs to follow and thanks for all of the help!

Can you guys post screen shots of your VE tables?

Also any fix for the Way Off Readings from My AEM UEGO? It's running the White 5v to the Orange and the Purple is Connected to the Ground closest to the white wire on the gauge power wire harness and connected with in an inch of the Ground coming from the gauge. Why is it so off, like 1.5-2.5 whole reading points.

Your wideband ground should be the same as your tccs and your maft.... not sure if that would cause the discrepency tho

AEM UEGO Analog Gauge - 30-5130

If you use TunerPro RT V5 Version 5 - Values for the Wideband Conversion Factor is 2.375(V) + 7.312,
or I'm just using X * 0.001000 - 1.900000 as the MAFT Pro Box Unit is only off by a smaller margin.

You have to use the White and Brown Wires, White to Orange and Purple to Brown. Aem issue, but my Gauge is independent and working. But Now I want a 2nd Gauge just to make sure.
