I have a dsm thats why I parted out my Supra if that tells you anything. Depends what you want to do with the car I personally feel that dsms are better for 1/4 mile but if you just want to cruise nothing beats a targa Supra.

Well what all you got left? Me personally I like the supra a hell of alot more then a dsm. All wheel drive is nice, but there's something about driving a supra. The intent of me getting the dsm was to dick off in the snow and thats pretty much it.

my supra is being built to go sideways all day lol and she is slowly getting there. Carter man i would hate for you to lose your supra man but hey it is what is man it looks clean but you gotta go with what makes you happy brother

I'd like to build mine to go sideways lmao I might get there one day. But as of right now, the deal with the dsm is off. He traded it for a 2g gst, which regardless of the mods... Its still front wheel drive... But hey, I'm keeping the supra. If anyone has extra parts they wanna throw this way, I'd be cool. I'll take a crank pulley if some one has one layin around.

I like the first gen DSM's, but i cant stand the look of the 2nd gen ones. I've also been debating selling my SUpra and doing a high compression, all motor b20 vtec for my integra.

DON'T DO IT! I got a friend that has a B20CRV swap, 13:1 CR has to run cam 2 to keep it from knocking and pinging and at best it ran a high to low 13s. I ran it and by third gear at 11psi, I was walking past it. IDK me personally, I don't ever think i'd trade the supra for a honda, just isn't worth it to me. That and I'd rather have rwd rather then fwd, but to each his own i guess.

Rwd is definately more fun, I'll give you that. I dont think I would go 13:1 compression tho, probably 11:1 or 11.5:1 with some big cams, port n polish, and maybe some itbs. But a 1jz supra would be so much more fun. I'm trying to find a place to move to right now that me and my mom can afford, and most of those palces dont have a 2 car garage, meaning I would have to sell the Supra, leaving me with only the teg. I'd prefer to keep the supra and swap in a 7mgte or 1jz, but I might have to sell it if nothing pans out garage wise.

I'm not gonna lie, when i seen your car in person. It kinda inspired me to get a nice set of coilovers and wide rims and slow down on performance till I get the money saved up to put everything together like I want it to be. I'm really picky when it comes to how I want the supra to look, so my goal is to be on "Rodel status" and rebuild the 7m, raise fuel cut, tune at 14psi and see what she puts down. Gather the rest of the Aero parts I want from Shine and start saving for whatever I figure I wanna do from there. Whether I plan on staying 7m or go into a 2j.

those are very nice indeed i figure with what the 1j is putting down with the little amount of mods i should be fine for drifting I have to worry more on suspension then anything i just pray nothing breaks lol. If i was you though carter if you a 2j just rock what you have now and start saving up for that beast thats what I did yea it sucked but i was happy with the end product

Yea, breaking things is never a good time lol
To me a 2j sounds like an amazing plan, but for what i'd put into swapping one in and getting it running. I'd think i'd be able to run a 3.1 7m and make the same as a 2j and still have money to play with. Altho, I think a 2j with 264 cams would fit the looks of a mk3, I'm just not sure which i'd really like to do. But the more i think about it, I think i'll end up staying with a 7m and getting ahold of Rich once I have the money to purchase the stroker kit. Match it with a JT62 or JT66 and supported fuel mods and I think i'll have a bad bitch lol Hell a 57trim CT would be interesting (I think) on a stroked 7m

So we'll see what happenins I guess, but I think a stroked 7m matched with a JT62 or JT66 and support mods is gonna be a hell of a combo. I think that might be what I do, It'll be sometime but i think that might be what I wanna do.

I listed my Supra on craigslist today, but I'm still gonna try and keep it. If I do have to sell it, I'll just save up and try to find a nice running mk3 turbo, or a turbo FC RX7

Thought about that also, Its around the same amount to build a quality 7m to build a 2j na-T but I still gots time. Na-t is temping tho lol

Well I have a job interview next tuesday a infocision, and i i get that job, i will be makin more than what I currently am. So maybe I might be able o rent a garage or stoage unit somewhere andworkon mine. A buddy of mine is sill ying to sell his 88 turbo, the body is kinda bad, but the drive train is sill good. So maybe something will work out with this new job, maye Ill find a garage, and maye ill by my freinds uo mk3 and swap everyting over to mine and hae a parts car that i can part out. But thats a lo o maybes. I'm just happy to have a job and one car that runs fine, even if its not a supra.

I also have eibach springs ill sell for $165, Just found out that my uncle bought the house where my car is, so i gotta move my car asap. Names Jason. I live and work in Lebanon Ohio[right in between Dayton and Cincy] Just got my mk3 a couple months back and its now at my work with the motor and trans out, due to a BHG, go figure. Dont know much about supras, since i work for ford lol. But this is my dream car so I'm rebuilding the motor and hope to have it up and running by spring time.
