They had some BMW on the dyno doing a baseline and part testing and switch nothing but the rear wheels out for some light weight ones and saw a 45hp increase. Everyone was kind of surprised so just to be sure they switched the wheels back again and lost the 45. Back to lightweight and gained it back. I never would have guessed just wheel weight would be such a big change myself.

No offense intended sir, and this may stem from my relative inexperience with the S13, but weren't they only something like 2750 lbs with the iron block KA that came in those here? Would think drastic dieting and an aluminum block engine would make it lighter than that... oh, WITH driver. Not terrible I guess, maybe they are fairly bare bones to begin with?
