The car looks awesome!! how much did a paint job like that cost you jay? if you don't mind me asking?

The labor itself was $1200.00. I bought all of my paint and sanding supplies and it cost me a little more than five hundred dollars.

Looks a lot better than my $1300 paint job Jay. I got chips in a few places and spray on both flares in front of my rear wheels. Ian is right, a good paint job is 90% prep work and 10% spraying. Atleast the doe didn't hit your Supra like the one that did mine.

The doe didn't hit me, but she scared the piss out of me. It was 8:30 in the morning and I wasn't expecting to see a four foot tall doe run out right in front of me......:biglaugh:

Looks very nice, although I didn't see a problem with the way it was.

Awesome jay. I like it a lot. And I think the shortcuts weren't as big a deal as some others stated...I feel the same way about spending money right now. I almost dumped some pretty big coin in a new turbo and fuel setup but balked when I thought how that money would help if I were to lose my jobs. Are you doing any side skirts? Again awesome.

I spent exactly what I was willing to spend without putting myself in a bind. It's worth it to me and I'm still glad I did it.

He may have changed his mind on it, but I doubt it being that he just had the car sprayed. But, when I had my car at his house, he told me that he wasn't fond of the sides as much as he was the rears. He did it in a nice way, but it still cut like a razor blade, ya know. Him and that other guy Noah.........they both made me feel like those sides on my car were ALL mine, and they didn't want anything to do with them. Fine with me.:naughty::biglaugh::evil2:

Scott, the sideskirts will look good on your car since it's going to be red, and I like it on the grey supras as well, but I saw a picture of a medium blue metallic with the sideskirts and rear skirts and I was not impressed. Since that day, I just couldn't bring myself to installing them.

Mark.........thanks for the backup, but the negative comments aren't bothering me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if they want to pay more for a better paint job then that's o.k. too. I've been extremely busy lately and I haven't even took the time to wash my car yet. I hope to get to this weekend. I can't find anyone to tune it yet. I may end up having to drive about two and a half hours south of me to another tuner that specializes in MR2's.

I'll post up some pictures as soon as I have some worth posting. Sorry for the laziness.
