My NA got called out by a geo metro...

So last night was pretty bad, before I showed up I was taking shots of hennessie at my boys graduation party, so I was pretty buzzed... showed up with the Supra ready to go, nitrous bottle on, new plugs, and everything, but I forgot to fill my ATF !!! so it was low and not shifting correctly... aired the spare tire down to 25psi on the driver side and the other side was at 35psi (to make up in size difference). So we line up (we stopped on the freeway, hella cars swerved around us it was pretty funny :biglaugh aight 3 honks then we go, on the 3rd honk, I neutral dropped it from redline (bouncing off limiter) and go for it, i hear a lound as clunk and the car goes!!! but I look over and the metro is already in front of me (WTF!??!?!) so I hit the nitrous and an instant 150shot of nitrous turns the sleeping NA into a beast!! but then it starts backfiring like a motha fucka!!!!! :icon_evil but I keep going, can't loose to this car, have to represent!!! but dude in metro is still pulling, I don't understand, and turns out the steering wheel is shaking like crazy!!! I seemed to have forgot to tighten down the lug nuts !!! but we are at 120mph now, so no backiing off! then I shift into 5th, but freaking miss cause of the armorall I put on the shifter made it slippery my hand fell off and I bump my head against the rear view mirror!!!!! :nono: I ended up loosing to him and now my engine runs weird (popping noises everywhere!) and the front rim is bent a little now.. it was a good think LuvMySilverSupra smoked the dude after with his G35.. for now, I am going retire my NA until I figure whats wrong :icon_mad: aight peace :chicken:

Dude, Im so so sorry that you lost to that metro. At first I thought this thread was a joke, but now it seems like its just a sad truth. But hey look on the bright side, if you had dumped half the money in your na that he put into his metro you would have whooped him like theres no tomorrow. Sometimes the other guy just spends more than you and SHOULD win.

Those Geo Metros are awsome to work on!

I did a standard 50k mile motor rebuild on one once and I wish I would have held on to the picture of the motor when it was in the vice on the bench.

Dude, I just thought of something, we went through hella trouble to swap engines, when I could of just drove your car to race him! We need to stop swiggin' the 151 and hennessie at night man and coming up with spontaneous things to do... oh well, i'll race him next week, updates will be up! aight peace :chicken:

The guy driving the geo can't be stupid. You don't just track down and find geo's to race, he's been looking for this. I would atleast recommend looking under the bonnet to have a look see......., other that that, smoke his ss so hard it'll be weeks before he stops turning off of roads he see's you coming down first. I have done an assload this memorial day. I planned to nurse beers in the shade alday and because of some illegal street things last night ,,, forced me the have to do some minimal touch ups to the engines and I laced and old school pair of vans with skull and crossbone shoe strings. I have smokked some kind and pretty much dudn't answer anything on here that didn't sound like a distress call and even took the time to tell you all, happy mem.. day. this place is like my second or third home. I think hpf,sf is my home, but this place grows on me more, day by day.

Looking under the hood and seeing the 3 cylinder in the geo would make it even worse... That's still not going to make is NA fast enough to beat it...
