Odd. my N/A with a BHG and an automatic blew my friends 85 Hachi out of the water. Its even got that red top motor thing. Hmmm.
OK, I'm a newb and knew not to take this thread seriously.... aight....
But I do want to know just what to expect out of an N/A auto. As of the end of the week my fuel pump will be in and 'til I can afford to do a GTE swap, I'd like to know what to expect. Some folks act as though GE mkii's aren't bad, some say they are crap. I wouldn't expect the same performance as a turbo'd mkiii but I mean it IS still a sports car!
Sorry to come off so newbish (can I call it that?), but I beat civics and N/A DSM's and such in my '94 4.6L crown vic with only ~200hp/260tq at the crank and ~2.5tons of car and fuel, 150lbs. of stereo, and 600lbs. of passengers. The only N/A powered rice I was significantly walked by and couldn't even keep up to was a JDM H22 2nd gen prelude with intake/exhaust/headers... If I were in my Supra, what could I expect? I wouldn't have 900lbs of passenger/stereo but I would have ~2 tons of car and 200hp/185tq, I know an older car loses power as mileage increases, but I do have a few basic mods so I'm not adding or taking power away.

Read my above. Took out an 85 Hachi with a red top and a stripped interior with the slowest of slows. An N/A automatic.
Its true unfortunately. But it was when the kid was learning how to shift with a manual transmission so I dont know what the outcome would be now.
You think I could take a 94 civic 1.6[?] with an auto and a fart connon? I just need bragging rights on my cousin as he thinks his stereo system gives him an advantage.
