My NA got called out by a geo metro...

So last night was pretty bad, before I showed up I was taking shots of hennessie at my boys graduation party, so I was pretty buzzed... showed up with the Supra ready to go, nitrous bottle on, new plugs, and everything, but I forgot to fill my ATF !!! so it was low and not shifting correctly... aired the spare tire down to 25psi on the driver side and the other side was at 35psi (to make up in size difference). So we line up (we stopped on the freeway, hella cars swerved around us it was pretty funny :biglaugh:) aight 3 honks then we go, on the 3rd honk, I neutral dropped it from redline (bouncing off limiter) and go for it, i hear a lound as clunk and the car goes!!! but I look over and the metro is already in front of me (WTF!??!?!) so I hit the nitrous and an instant 150shot of nitrous turns the sleeping NA into a beast!! but then it starts backfiring like a motha fucka!!!!! :icon_evil but I keep going, can't loose to this car, have to represent!!! but dude in metro is still pulling, I don't understand, and turns out the steering wheel is shaking like crazy!!! I seemed to have forgot to tighten down the lug nuts !!! but we are at 120mph now, so no backiing off! then I shift into 5th, but freaking miss cause of the armorall I put on the shifter made it slippery my hand fell off and I bump my head against the rear view mirror!!!!! :nono: I ended up loosing to him and now my engine runs weird (popping noises everywhere!) and the front rim is bent a little now.. it was a good think LuvMySilverSupra smoked the dude after with his G35.. for now, I am going retire my NA until I figure whats wrong :icon_mad: aight peace :chicken:

Dude! It was a NA Metro 3 cycl... POS NA Mk3 can't even beat a geo metro! I am ashamed of owning a NA MK3... time to go TURBO~!!! :evil2:

yeah it sucked man. i wish i had the mk3 out there to beat him and show him what a real supra can do.

bert almost made up for that neutral drop at the start by shifting into 5th later. awesome.

u said erlier that he had a suzuki motor in it? aparently no one hear has heard of the suzuki swift? that car WAS the geo metro until chevy bought it. now the suzuki swift weighs nothing at all (4 people can pick it up) and the little motor in it (for a 3 cylinder) is a powerhouse. theres a turbo kit on the internet somewhere that will garanty you a 10 second car. my freind used to own one thats why i know so much. just a little advice if someone trys to race you in a car you think has no way of beatting you and they telll you bout a swap look it up. u would be suprised what a different motor will do to some cars. not raggin on you or anything but in j-ville we have alot of odd swaps and i have learned to be careful bout who i race

i still can't believe that a inline 6 would lose to a 3cly. yeah it's bulkier but i wouldn't think it would be that slow

It's more than kinda sad (were it true), a 1L 3 cylinder 55hp econobox beating a sports car with a 3L I6 and 200 hp, is IMO pitiful, I don't care, heavier or not. If this thread weren't some sort of inside joke, it would permanently change my opinion about MKIIIs for the worst. I mean honestly, a stock turbo has a measly 34 hp on an N/A, how much better would it have faired with that 17% increase over an N/A? Maybe a car length?
