Finally, I have the balance of parts I need. New shift fork (only because you can't order the pin & snap ring seperately :icon_conf ), snap rings & plate washers for the clutch assembly, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, et al...

I have the SPEC III installed & the lightend flywheel mocked in my freshly rebuilt tranny. I'm trying to get the hoist over today so I can get the motor off of the stand & mount the tranny. If I can, I should have the motor in tonight! :icon_bigg

Hey Rakkasan. Looking good. I hope to get my clip in tomorrow, but who knows? I'm glad to see your swap is going pretty good. Hopefully between you and bobiseverywhere doing one right now, I should be able to get all the answers I need...................:biglaugh:

Can I take my aluminum flywheel and drill the holes out to match the bolt pattern of the 1jz and use it in my swap? I think I read it somewhere but I'm not sure. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll pass along any info I can if it's helpful...

Not really about sure about the flywheel. In my mind, I can't imagine a way it could work, but that's just my thoughts. Line it up & take a look, you might be able to...

Update on the intercooler. It turned out better than I could have hoped for. The bottom clearance is right on the money, the A/C is still intact & the stock 1J overflow bottle fits in the stock location too. I couldn't squeeze a 24x12x4" in any better.

I have a CAD dwg showing the mounting tab dimensions & locations. If I can find a way to print from Microstation to .tiff, I'll post the drawing up later....

EDIT: PDF of intercooler dimensions attached....

ok Rak since you have messed with the AC already, what is needed from a 1JZ and what can be reused from the US setup. I mean can you the freon lines from the US 7m and does it hook up to the 1JZ compressor. I would appreciate the help as I have a basket case 1JZ unfinished install with no clip to compare to. The compressor didnt come with it so I have to get it already, but dont know what all is needed on top of that. Thanks
