They do have boost cut, but I believe the Emanage is supposed to eliminate that. We didn't have any fuel cut issues on the dyno, but maybe the change in temperature or atmosphere is doing it, or a boost leak like Reign said.

Boost leak shouldn't have anything to do with FC on a 1J though since it's MAP though, right?

That's what would have thought too, but it was making Jay's car run rich when he had a leak on the back of the manifold he didn't know about.

back of the manifold I could see. the pressure is bleeding out before it reaches the cylinders, but has all ready be read by pressure in the intake by the map sensor.. but a boost leak pre tb wont make any difference..

It ran good today, which I'm happy to report. I think I figured out what the problem might have been. When I started the car this afternoon, I turned the key to acc for a few seconds before I cranked it up & during the Emanage initialization process. When I did crank it up, the Emanage didn't appaer to finish initializing & the Profec had a blank screen. I'm assuming that when I was hitting FC, the Emanage had done the same thing & wasn't functional, therefore the car was untuned. Sound logical?

On a good note, I had my first kill today. Another Dodge Charger, Daytona/Hemi, got his ass handed to him. We started from a 60mph role, and by the time I hit forth, maybe 8 seconds later, I had at least 5 car lenghts on him. When I let off, he did the typical ricer fly by.

I'm freakin impressed with the 1J, my car as a whole & the work with all of the work that Aaron & Jose have done. I'm off to clean the hell out of it now.... :)

I can see the 7M crowd "DAMN!! We lost another one to Ditech!"

just messin, guys.

Oh Joe, but it's true. I readily admit that I've lost some low end torque, but damn, the 1J's are smooooth. Damn it's smooth.

Did you ever drive it with the stock twins on?

Nope, not the first mile. With that said, I'm glad I didn't. The turbo I have hits full boost somewhere around 3700 rpm, so it's a lot more lag than the CT26/7M I had, but when it spools, it hits you in the back like a baseball bat! It hauls ass....
