IMO i think the bottom of the bumper and sideshirt should hug the wheel like the rest of the wheel well
example

notice most modern cars hug the wheel all the way around.

I dont think the side skirt is "higher" in the middle. I think its a optical illusion because the fenders are so wide vs the door, so it appears to be higher... but thats just what I think...

By the way, the car is looking great!
