Ok well it has been a few. I have been very busy.
p1517659_1.jpg

I figured out why the car wont start........... Oh yeah I did this by my self motor and the tranny. It really wasnt hard. I removed the entire front end so if I daid wack anything it wouldn't be the good shit.
p1517659_2.jpg

I did this for a number of reasons.
The assholes that did the first GTE swap did some hinky bullshit with the ING switch so I am replacing that.
I am rewiring my turbo timer into the harness, relocating my water temp, oil pressure, and oil temp gagues to the a pillar.
I have to remove and reroute the factory mirror controls for the JDM set up..
Swap in the Chaser harness, relocate the ecu and extend and rewire the supra body harness.
Remove the SRS system. I am sure there is more, But I am kinda scattered.
p1517659_3.jpg

Just a pic of the general mayhem in my Garage at this time.

I am planning on dropping the motor in soon. I am also in the process of doing a timing belt on a RB26 and swapping a full 04 Sti swap into a 2000 2.5rs complete with Six Speed and DCCD Just the parts cost us 7800. I will get some pictures if people want to see that .

Looks good Matt. The engine looks really clean and the valve covers really turned out nice, much better than what was on them a week ago. When was the Cressy in your garage? The motor is really coming along now. LMK if you need some help putting it in.

Ok new shit, I started the wiring harness. Well first off I am swapping in a JZX90 harness and Ecu. It has been a pain in the ass. There are two missing plugs on the Ecu. Luckily there isn't much that they are used for they are most of the wire from the missing eb plugs which I will deal with later in the post. I split the Autosport harness and extended the stock harness
p1572430_1.jpg

These are the pinouts that I am using from the Jzz30 auto ecu pinout
p1572430_2.jpg

p1572430_3.jpg

This is a breakdown of the Missing Eb1 and Eb2 plugs that are not found on the chaser harness. ( taken from 92teals site)
p1572430_4.jpg

What my writing says is
EB2
Battery light on dash
40A fusible link
positive EFI relay signal
EB1
theft horn
positive EFI relay signal
this bigger picture of the Jzz30 pinout tells you were to wire in your makeshift eb plugs. Notice they are in the plugs that are missing from the factory harness.
I went to the pull a part and grabbed this from a Cressida.I am going to merge this in to the factory harness at the TPS location to replace the EB plugs
p1572430_5.jpg

I am still trying to figure this one
p1572430_6.jpg

The operating room. a closet door on some saw horses
p1572430_7.jpg

Still have to deal with these . I think they are right????

Another sourced plug. This is for my Aftermarket Water temp gauge. I went ahead and just ran all the wire for my gauges along with the stock stuff so it is nice and clean. I also made everything removable.

And yes a 2JZge power steering pump will work on a 1j. You need to remove the stock reservoir and get the union for the supply hose ( part # 44337-24020 ) the o ring ( 90301-11016) the reservoir ( 44360-24042) and the hose ( 44348-24040)
p1572430_13.jpg

still sitting :(
Oh I forgot my donor harness I am using mostly stock wires in the stock locations for future ease
