update on progress:

aaron is coming down tomorrow to weld crossmember for the 1j, and help me lift the 7m out. waiting for the flywheel to be resurfaced and then we're cleared for landing. sucks still driving loaners but it will be worth it when im tearing up the roads soon. :D

flywheel done but more delays yeaarrgghh! some divine force is conspiring to keep my swap from being done in a timely fashion! in other news, reinstalled the rear interior panels after extensive windexing of panels on both sides and the unibody. its a clean supra, its just not running yet.

the worst part about the swap dragging on is things like busting a tire on the loaner car which meant $136 at the stealership for a replacement (why in the name of all that is holy does a 195/60r15 tire cost so much?! its a f8cking ford focus!). ugh :( my wallet is wearing thin as this takes longer and longer. i wish things didnt keep getting delayed :(

update:

thanks to the almighty aaron, engine is out (turns out i dont know jackshit about pulling engines), and the crossmember is modified. bad news is, having to move at the end of the month to a place where i won't be able to work on my swap. and the way i am, it wont get finished by then. sooooooo looks like its going to ......driftmotion! so yeah.

but in the meantime, here's how everything sits:

moving on the 30th of the month to a place where i wont be able to work on teh car, and i dont have the time to finish it before then. driftmotion may not be able to take it since they're really busy as it is, and i don't know who else to ask...

dropped the whole bindle off at sr motorcars today. steve the guy there seems to be pretty on the ball, so hopefully it will be a running car in the near future. next pictures getting posted on here will hopefully be of my 1jz-gte filled engine bay and maybe some big black streaks on pavement.

oh and complete mod list as of that dyno: driftmotion 3" downpipe, driftmotion 3" test pipe, tanabe hyper medallion 3" catback, tenzo intake, tokico illumina II struts, ST rear sway (not sure if front is going in or not), H&R springs. ssr wheels wwill go on soon, sawblades for now.

my question is, for my mods, am i making decent enough power?
