I say replace the carrier bearing, check that all exhaust fastening points are good, and burp the cooling system, and you should be golden. I know you don't really want to be under it that much though.

The stock downpipe has a bracket on it that bolts to the transmission. I have not put those two bolts back in yet. I might do that this weekend.
The coolant systems is good, no air and the level in the overflow reservoir has been consistant...so far. Carrier bearing will be the next big purchase. I'm still debating on whether to get a new one piece but I worry so much about the smoothness factor. I can't afford a new two piece shaft. If I get just the bearing, I'll have it replaced. I'm not lying under the car that long again!
